Bus would be awesome, if you could reinforce it Dawn of the Dead style. Which is something I wouldn't mind seeing in the stand alone. The option to reinforce vehicles :S

In case you haven't heard Bohemia Interactive is making the standalone... You will be lucky if it even works the first month, yet you want the characters to give visual queue's?

I would be so bold as to say the tent and vehicle bugs are VERY bloody game breaking. I mean what's left if you can't fix up vehicles or place some bases/tents around the maps. Only really pvp in Cherno/Elektro left with those.gone.

Bandits are better at aiming because most bandits are people sitting in wait, at least in my experience. Also more often than not snipers >.> Now for Heroes, they are usually much more passive, and tend to run away from confrontation often while being shot at by said ahole bandit, leading to increased cardio and athleticism. There is your realism, now stfu.

Just a question really. I saw the Arma 3 Min Requirements and I don't meet them lol. Basically, if I won't be able to run Arma 3 do you think there will be any chance of me running the DayZ stand alone? I am kind of stoked it is becoming a stand alone game but I am generally concerned I won't be able to play it :( As it is my FPS in game is like 30-40 normally and like 20 in Cherno. Pretty garbage lol

I meet the recommended requirements you listed, I still run DayZ like crap though, guess that is just normal :S

If you are like me and downloaded the update supposedly through dayz commander, only to find it say "Up to date" when it is still the old version then you can try what I did. I think I have it working now. I just copied the beta exe from expansion/beta into the main O:A directory, replacing the default exe. After I did this it displayed the fully updated version on dayz commander and I could join games :S. This worked for me so I don't know if it would for you guys but make a copy of your default exe beforehand, or don't since steam will just generate if missing any hows.

You have the exact same issue I have myself. I have yet to find a solution or hear one from someone else. My current game version is even the same.

Well I have the steam version. I can't actively update it anymore through steam. I tried using Six earlier today. I installed the game and I thought everything was all good. Except I couldn't join a single game. I would just constantly get a "Loading" in the middle of the screen, no progress bar, no sound no nothing. I have read repeatably that Six does not have the latest version, and you need to manually download it. Well I don't know about that but I did manually download the 95913 build from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php about an hour ago. I cannot get it to really work that way either. I installed it and read the "read me". I then assumed using dayzcommander that perhaps I had to change the directory to the expansion/beta folder for O:A. That changed the version in the "Version" tab of dayzcommander to the most recent version, but when I launched the game I was missing textures and models. Honestly I am about ready to die, I have been on my computer trying to do this since 1:15 PM. It is now 7:10.......

I have Dayzcommander, it won't update. What directories are you supposed to set for it? For Arma 2 im using E:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 For O:A I am using : E:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead Both of these are the games main directory but it refuses to update. Well to be more precise it does the update, says it is updated under "Versions" but the old version is still installed. Why is there no stickied guide for it? Also why is this site actively promoting Six if the users are saying its tripe? Sorry if there already is a installation thread, I am having issues finding a good one though :(
