The difference between a small PC dev company and a large PC dev company is that large dev companies can test on multiple setups, small ones can only test on a limited range. So while the patch may have fixed things on the setups available to the DayZ team, it wasnt fixed to the possible 1million+ hardware/software/config setups. Just chill, Honey Bunny. If you don't like this free mod right now, go play the game you paid for...Arma 2.

The RV engine has always been developed in iteration. Arma 2:OA had many improvements on Arma 2, which lead to the Arma 2 engine being updated with improvements from Arma 2:OA.The reason VR4 engine is taking so long because of the new staff brought in to work on it, and it's complexity. Changing one feature affects another feature, sometimes negatively. It is taking a lot of hard work. I imagine because of it's alpha state and constant release of updates, steam won't be an option. I think minecraft had some issue with that when it came out in an alpha state. ...I heard steam went about and changed the agreement to accommodate minecraft though, so maybe?

I.Ps aren't much use unless you want to DDoS them or figure out what city they live in...if you have access to ISP records then sure you can get all their information. Emails will lead you to names, names will lead you to locations, businesses, addresses too easy

ragdoll physics will probably be the best thing introduced in to the Arma engine

You should really be leap-frogging your PC upgrades...that's the benefit of owning a PC. Upgrade 1 component 1 year, and upgrade another, another year...and so on. I usually do RAM/GPU one year, mobo/CPU another year
