All they do is follow noise...the only thing they have going for them is speed and hearing. You can stand still in front of one and be fine. I hardly call that being too intelligent. Also, they dont "avoid" your bullets...they zig-zag at random due to Arma's AI (they werent coded to zig-zag) AFAIK

Ping limit was 50/60ms. NZ broadband is stupid expensive, and lower quality. You must take this in to account. We dont want to keep everyone out, but our infrastructure cant support the load that this game produces.

From what I can tell, duped items are the ones that disappear during skin change/inventory updates. Ive often wondered why some of my gear would disappear after an event, and some wouldnt. The case is usually items I did not find from a loot spawn location would disappear. So dont rely too heavily on items you find from other players. As for the duping itself, sometimes it cant be avoided. Ive both lost and duped very important gear, mostly through the different timings of the tent inventory/player save near a server crash/restart.

I created this subforum because most new players were submitting their troubleshooting problems to General Discussion. This was highly irritating and a drain on us to moderate. Im under the assumption most new players would sign up to these forums to get their mod working correctly (as it is no easy process). Hopefully they are attracted to this forum instead of general discussion first, since troubleshooting seems to be generally overlooked (perhaps a language thing?) -

I know killing players is fun...but what's the point of killing newbies??? Every day Im shuffling up to the North and I see too much survivors running around without a care. It is our duty, as Banditos, to make survivors WORK for the loot in the north...give them an end-game experience. Los Bandidos Sobrevivir!

bandit skin is horrible for camouflage. The dark survivor skin is probably the best. The bandit skin reflects too much light.
