I could use antiB! I got infected somehow, maybe from getting my temps too low. I have a blood bag but no antiB so Im down pretty low. Just outside of Novy. btw, ill have to check and see if I still have the TMW TS saved. I haven't used TS since I quit playing DayZ about 9 months ago lol

US 3480 seems legit. I am on it right now but during the hour getting myself reacquainted with the game, I got low temp and became infected somehow. so now im almost out of blood. Was able to go make camp fire and get my temps back to hot, but apparently its no good since my infection wont go away. Hey Ender, welcome back to DayZ lol

Well I am not sure how the hell I got sick...but its been killing me slowly. If your temp gets too low, can you get an infection? shouldn't that only happen from zeds or bad water or something? im low on blood and had to log off for now near Novy...hopefully I can get someone to get me some antibiotics lol

so I actually see it now. Is there a TS server or public site I can go to so I don't get shot at by people who consider me hostile? :)

Yeah Jimmy, Ill look at US 3480 once I get the mods installed. Which mod are you running? I figured I'd install the common ones that seem to have a lot of servers, Origins, etc. I am up to date with Commander and Arma, but didn't see yours when I searched. I wonder if Ill have all my gear from when I last logged in like 9 months ago...or something like that... :D

wow..build houses? lol Apparently I HAVE missed a lot. I was used to the good ol find a server, all the same map, play with fear of other players but cautiously with others in teams or something, find vehicles, fix them, help survivors, and just raid shops for supplies. Sounds like a ton has changed. I also play a night when I did, CST (Texas, USA). So maybe the cheaters were on at night when less people were on. Thanks for the info!

Oh..and also for fun I purchased ARMA3 a few months back just to have it for future necessity incase DayZ went with the newer engine.

i dont know if a lot of peole had noticed that you can actually modify the skin of your character in DayZ, but I am able to change the face/facial hair/glasses of the character. You can select from between about 30+ skins, black, white, or even some guys with muslim look (long beards/hair). I went into Arma II OA and in the setup menu I could modify my character. I didnt think it would matter, but in my game when viewing the character, I can see the skin I chose. So apparently for mine for some reason I can retain that look in DayZ. If this is old news, my bad :) But I have been told and heard people mention that it cant be changed and is completely random.

My first mistake... I assumed you were intelligent enough to think of something mature and constructive vs insulting and pointless when I expected any sort of response. And congrats on thinking of helping others and revolutionizing medical assistance before anyone else, ever, since no one would think of it before you. Everyone here will definitely want to work with someone who insults like a tough guy instead of being mature enough to simply say "just offering our help if a TMW member is not available. we're here at ***** thread if you would like another option as we work hand in hand with TMW and have since the beginning." Your post in no way indicated you worked with TMW nor have ever worked with them in the past, yet instead indicated you intend to moonlight off their threads success. Great representation of RMG there tough guy. btw, my questioning of your post in no way is on behalf of TMW but more of an observation as a white-listed member, but I play with them nightly. so I dont care to continue any debate in this thread...so good day to you sir.

I understand people want to help but isnt this sort of moonlighting off of TMW? TMW is a trusted and well established community. I think its personally kind of disrespectful to try to take people away from TMW when its clear just above how people are noticing there are less forum posts requiring help. Its great to help but maybe starting your own thread is ideal. However if TMW doesnt care and as long as people get helped in the end by trusted members, thats all that really matters right?....

The game is not intended to be easy nor were the initial intentions for you to live very long..and I mean like 30-60minutes. As people started working together and learning the ropes, Zeds are the least of your worries. Other players are and always will be the #1 enemy. Trust no one but dont be afraid of forming bonds with other players in order to survive. My suggestion is to hit up Trusted Medics of the Wasteland and get into a good group of guys. After you get over hackers and cheaters and server glitches, you realize the game is still well worthwhile because its simply fun to play. Dying and having to rebuild your character and weapons is half the fun. You will enjoy this game if you do not fear dying, see it as more of a challenge. Embrace the difficulties and dont expect much from it. Its a fun game :)

in its purest form, the game is about surviving. i know the ideal game-play would involve groups creating camps and bases and factions and what not...but the game will very quickly deviate from a short-lived survival game to an all out territorial war where zombies have little to no effect on the game. as it is there are way too many powerful guns...basic weapons and survival items are all that should remain. now if you could group and have to venture into cities/towns to gather food (the only place its available) and items like medical supplies, limit the weapons to shotties, basic rifles, and pistols. something dangerous when venturing then it adds to the danger/excitement. radio wont do any good if people continue to hunt people just to be a jackass...vs actually doing it purely for survival. as it stands, you dont NEED others to survive. with basic weapons, limited ammo and dangerous raids required, people will be much more likely to band together because dwindling numbers wont survive against a large horde.

yeah, when i read that comment on Bush/Cheney I basically quit reading haha. I agree if you dont like the game, dont play. Hacks DO ruin it for everyone, but thats just for now. You're not really SUPPOSED to live that long anyways. But with people using exploits, glitches, etc, we're living a lot longer. You're not supposed to be around for days, let alone hours. Playing on different servers to 'avoid' night time because its 'hard'. Use a damn flashlight. Experience the game with a flashlight, no weapon, and zombies chasing your stupid ass for running and not walking. Its a fun game for being a MOD. Yes, its a MOD. When its a full fledged standalone it will change drastically...if you dont know what that means, it means A LOT. lol. Btw, if you dont like whats going on with the mod right now, go play Arma II...i have yet to do so and i heard its a really fun game. I enjoyed BF and BF2 (and BF2142), so i was told id love Arma II with its realism.

Mr.Fluffy, FYI do not publicly provide your coordinates and your server info. Log off and wait for a medic to tell you which server to join. You're an easy target for low-life bandits.

thats not a bad claim...considering our entire medica/security unit was just wiped out (8+) by two hackers. all for trying to save ONE survivor with a broken leg. if you have your own servers (with passwords) i do believe thats not allowed at this time. so if you have other hacker-controls in order, plz share. because the rest of us are dying to play on a hacker free server. its bad enough we have glitches/server issues destroying vehicles and personal items that we collect legally.... so if you found a proper way to deal with them (possibly by having onsite admins at all times) then nice...share the knowledge :P

The point is to warn others of that server. Wiped out 8 of us multiple times as we tried aiding a victim. started destroying our camp and then gave up and left when there was no more 'fun' to be had because everyone left. until admins are on the servers regularly, it'll be a big issue all the time. ruins the whole experience. at least the decent cheaters mess with people or give them stuff vs just spawning right behind them and popping a silenced head shot...true skills there!

this is too funny...its amazing what creative people can do with the right resources! lol. I only read the first few pages but Im guessing this is still in operation. Keep up the good work! though just an FYI....if bandits are aware of your route and scheduled stops...it will be easy to pick off the unsuspecting victims like sniping a deer at a feeder or water spot. So my suggestion (as a non violent survivor) is to make sure you make your way to cover from the bus ASAP to avoid any unnecessary additions to the road blocks already congesting the highways (I.E. your corpse!) :)

guys that need help, also keep in mind you can go to the Team Speak server if you have TS and simply go into the Lobby. Typically there will be a TMW medic available to see what it is you need. If they are not there right away, typically someone will check the lobby so just wait. Or direction PM a whitelist/TMW member in your region. Im not a medic (something about mouth to mouth on a bandit just doesnt sound appealing to me) but i support them and they're very quick at responding if someone is available!

It adds a nice little challenge to the task if you ask me. Its VERY much like real life if we were dependant on survival. But also very much like real life, those that choose to take the criminally minded route to survival, will be utterly alone while the rest provide for eachother in growing numbers. Even clans on the fence about who to kill on sight or clans of bandits (that have standards like killing to survive, not to be an ass) stick together as a community. The fact has been stated multiple times, and its quite simple. Taking out medics wont solve your problem. The majority of the people needing help are broken legs or wounded from the hard life on Chernorus and it only grows the passion people have to help others wronged by a selfish bandit. Technically you should be going to the root of the problem. You say medics heal those that are shot by bandits and those not killed (because you have poor marksmanship) log out only to be helped by medics. However, medics dont ask why/how and will help anyone. You really should be taking out your fellow bandits. They are the reason people lot out after being shot unprovoked (most poorly armed newbs), which then need to be healed by a non-partisan medic. Moral of the story....kill all bandits. Bandits should kill bandits as primary targets before killing survivors and medics. They will have the best weapons (from looting players), good control over certain areas because they literally have nothign to lose and go looking for fights, will horde equipment/vehicles and all the best camp sites.
