Wise words there. Many of my friends are so eager to play the alpha but I keep telling them they might get bored of the game when it reaches it's final and meant stage. For this reason I'll buy the alpha and play a few hours just to see what it's like, but then wait until february-march

For DayZ(and Arma2) it's obvious by now that any setup can struggle but if you follow some guides (as linked above) you should be OK. Make sure to keep normal temperatures for your CPU and GPU. As for Battlefield 4.. well Battlefield is Battlefield if you know what I'm saying. Make sure to download the latest possible drivers(beta drivers) for your graphics card as it can make a huge difference! I didn't read the article but it might contain some useful information for you:http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-r9-290-driver-fix,3666-4.html PS: I don't plan on buying AMD crap ever again. Their processors are simply inferior and I've had way too much problems with their graphics cards and drivers.

PC Gamers shouldn't have gotten their information from a reddit thread, but from the developers/company themselves. Yes, rocket wasn't very clear on that matter, but again I am hugely disappointed by today's journalism.

To me it's kind of obvious the game will be out before christmas, but what's the reason making a theory video about it and trying to hype people up? Damn, what a difference with the E3 content they showed. According to the content seen at gamescom for DayZ it looks really great! EDIt: I don't know about you guys but after the E3/Rezzed videos I felt underwhelmed. I had high hopes for the alpha to be released by june/july! But now I feel like Rocket is clearer and that's nice.

Well with the less robot-like movement in arma I wouldn't mind playing first person only in Arma3. All it needs is a FOV slider and we're set!
