That AS50 will not be used to freely kill people, just to protect my small group from that helicopter and any other future big threats. Im back in DAYz after some months being away cause university stuff and now I wanted to come back with some of the other members from my old group and now we are 3 experienced nice players but we would like to find a couple more. We hate bandits, we kill zombis and most of all, we have fun! :thumbsup: An old video from the old times in this past summer: Where are we from? What language do we speak? Im from Switzerland/Spain (50%), another guy is from Ukraine and another one is from Spain. We speak english (sometimes spanish if needed). We are building a new base and we would like compromised people to join us. A couple of good players , good people that likes to kill zombis, protect our territory and chase bandits so everyone have fun. We protect the innocent, we kill the bastard. I don´t want to see in our group people that plays 30 minutes and gets tired or bored, people that goes to other games all the day, or people that dont go to defend the base if we are being attack! I want to see next to me a trustable man that have fun in this nice game with me, that will be there to push me up if i fail, that will cover my back and that we will become great friends in this small wonderful world called DayZ. Today with this last update of Day Z, I´m starting to think that this game suicided, auto-killed itself... My reasons to say this? This morning I have been killed by a bandit that was camping with a DMR aiming to the... nothing? I was cutting a cow in pieces in the middle of the wilderness, far away from any possible problem, a lot of miles / kilometers away. He started to shoot me, aiming very bad to be honest, and i instantly wrote in the chat that everyone could read: "Hey stop shooting!!!!!! Im friendly!!!". I wrote that same time I made clic to bandage myself. He stoped shooting while I was bandaging myself and then after 0,5 secs he started to shoot again with no stop. I pressed really fast ESC button to disconnect, and then I remembered while I was watching it, that is impossible to disconnect in that situation. So I just accepted it, maybe bad luck or something, I quit from that game. Now, with this latest update of the game, I came to play like an hour ago. I was in the middle of a forest, everything was almost full darkness cause of the night, and suddenly, and without any doubt, everything was becoming white, a full daylight came to my eyes, and before I advised what was going on, I saw a lot of messages from all the people in the server saying: - Waooh!! - LOOOL - What the fuck!?!? And then... I saw this text, like everyone else did, with the screen covered in perfect white: op op op OPA GANGNAM STYLE!! With the music sounding in the background of our screen :S (I was in that moment already with a good friend in the server and he opened fraps, I hope i will be back here in a couple of days with the part that we recorded). After that everyone was getting killed and kicked from the server by this hacker, and I pressed myself very fast ESC button to try to abbord, but it said when i was pressing ESC a text from the hacker: No quiting , and a second ago, before this text appeared for the people that was opening escape menus to abbord and run away from this hacker, I saw that I couldn´t disconnect cause now you need to be with the abbord button open for a countdown of 30 to 0 that lasts like 45 seconds... Five minutes later, I checked again the server, that was the only one working for me at the moment with all the last updates by the way, and nobody was there, 0 guys in that server... Now, if the game already was hard for good people and survivors that doesnt kill other people, just the zombis, now actually is the bandit & hackers paradise... - A survivor can´t disconnect anymore when a hacker start cheating in any way, cause you need 45 seconds and in 45 seconds he already took you down or trolled you to have fun for the full day... - A good man that has fun killing zombis and helping other people cannot run away any more from bandits trying to fuck him, cause you need 40 seconds with the menu opened watchin to the "abbord" button before being able to disconnect, and that is if he failed very much the shots... The reality is that, if a a bandit sees you , and if you dont want to kill him , you are dead. No more the chance to magically dissapear and going to a server without them to have fun playing a funny game without somebody trying to kill you for no reason... I will make a direct question: Is this game dead for people like me that are here to kill zombies and not to ruin other people´s game or their work by killing them or destroying what they have? Is the game ended for the survivors? Is Day Z... dead?

Who talked about alt+f4, is people stupid or what, this guy seems so. -> I DONT DO THAT, I ALREADY SAID, do you actually read the texts where you want to answer something??????? I just do what game allows, pressing escape and waiting till it lets to disconnect, and with the time this is becoming harder and harder...

Now I got to understand the concept of Bambi or rabbit it seems that I hear so many times from usual bandits xD So the only choice for a survivor that wants to kill zombis and help other people is just runing and runing while recieving shots till death from some random stupid guy that chose him as his next victim and that will be dead soon also probably by another bandit close to him? I tried to disconnect to be able to feed my small friends (i have a group, small group and we are runing out of food at all) with the food i was having, literally. I agree with you but not in everything and I like your position, I never talked about "alt F4" and I dont do that, so you now even will understand me better. I just do what the game allows, not quiting with alt f4.

I was not "in the middle of a field", I was fucking far away from any dangerous or interesting areas, in the middle of the wilderness, actually that position is next to my base with a lot of vehicles and items that hasnt been spoted for 3 weeks already... Anyway you are taking the thread away from the point, so please go to your threads or where you belong, because I want people focussing in the point mate, not in my stupidness or cleverness being a survivor in dayz... The discussion between you and me is if i did it correct or wrong, but what im talking about its about a fact, about the doors closing to the survivors in this game, about the increasing chances for the bandits to be even greater assholes, or to the hackers to cheat freely cause they have enough time to kill you before they leave. And of course bandits are part of the game, as survivors are also, and their ways to play vs the zombis are decreasing with every update. I don´t mean about not enough players guys. Im trying to go deeper, read paying attention guys. I mean about they are ending with the survivor way to play dayz, and yes , with the survivor players also, but I want to aim exactly to the biggest problem, no more survivors ways to play this game. Guys, try to read again carefully, It seems most of you are missunderstanding the point that I´m not here to cry for being killed by a bandit in the morning and by a hacker in the night, Im here to try to make everyone see if this game is evolving correctly, cause its making harder and harder the game for survivors and easier easier easier the game for hackers and bandits... For example: The bandit can decide that he wants to kill but the survivor cannot decide that he wants to go away from the fights, huh? Prey? Prey? Wtf? You are a pretty obvious bandit... Its a matter of a guy having fun to kill other people and another one having fun to play a game against the zombis without wanting to kill other people for fun. Not a matter of prey and hunter, thats the fucking point of the bandits. They can decide how the game is going to be played in that moment for him and for the guy that they are going to shoot, but that guy cannot decide anymore to dissapear from that stupid no sense fight for him.

I knew someone was going to answer this and I already had a response ready: I don´t care about being killed, it´s not important for me. I see it in everyone almost, the game is dieing for the people of my group, for random players I know, for one clan of good people I have played a lot of times in his server... People is quiting the game cause the patches are making just a way to play it: kill everything you see, you cannot disconnect to dodge the all-day-fighting, so just kill, kill forest kill... And now some adds for my answer: What you call "douchebags" is actually 2 really different people and therefore situations: bandits and hackers...

I cant kill somebody that is from a forest aiming with a DMR to the wilderness for no reason in a distance of +500 meters with me having a PDW, while Im cutting a cow... can I... Anyway I didnt talk only about that. I tried to explain that this game has reached the last element it was needing to be the perfect paradise of BANDITS + HACKERS/CHEATERS
