Part 6, - Death and Absolute silence

I stumbled accross a chicken..thought maybe I could melee it...thought maybe I needed a knife...didn't know how to melee..didn't have a knife..so I wondered..is this possible?.. and if so what do I need to be successful in gutting an animal and using it as food?

I've seen videos where the campfire bugs out and it takes up a large portion of the screen in the distance..looks like a raging forest fire.... anyone know how to do it? ..

Here's the problem, same happens to my friend and I. Once we start bleeding we can't stop it, then it goes into the negative and stops at -26 blood. Game never saves so when you join a server you're back where you started before we last updated. Lag spikes out the ass (coming from a guy who records in full 1080 and running cross fire 6000 series cards) .. =\.....I've been wanting to make a new video for my survivor cam series but right now it isn't possible.

How do you spectate and become this?

I appreciate the comment so much Miky:) I was thinking the same thing too about the hud..but I thought..well I want to make this pretty bad...so I worked with it..I'm glad I did! Why wait when I can do it now?..But when I can disable the hud it will be really awesome <3... Good luck on making a video!

Thanks da_klunk! I was hoping to get another video in the latest updates have rendered the game unplayable. It doesn't save my position and I'm bleeding all the time, bandages don't stop it and eating food and drinking water does nothing. :(

I have the same complaint about the zombies speed/running. I would love them to run..but they are RIDICULOUSLY fast. In a very unnatural way...I don't mean in the good 'horror' unnatural way..I mean they look ridiculous..kind of like a .."wow this game is so great"..then you see a zombie run and you're just like -_-..uhhhhhh..k? Personally I think the whole zombie running thing is a lack of polish (it IS alpha afterall) ..the zombies need more focus in their animation.. Another thing I agree with is that zombies are far too aware. Over the board ridiculous. I have crawled, flanked and taken an hour trying to get into a small town to look for supplies...if one zombie spots me essentially all my plan went to hell..it's pretty well; "Well that was a good game"..I'd be lucky to hold off the rest of the hoard that somehow know exactly where I am even though they are on the other side of the town..suddenly you've got a couple dozen zombies streaming at you from all directions and I've got nothing but a pistol and 2 mags..essentially.."I know I'm fucked, I'll have to restart"...I could abort the server..but that's an unneccasary hassle.. Here's the thing...sure..you try to make the game 'realistic'..but the fact that the engine itself can only do so much ..you still have to cater to players..because making the game more difficult does not make it more realistic.....there is a fine line between what is fun/over the top just because it's got more controls and has a steeper learning curve doesn't make it more realistic. IF it were realistic in the sense that the technology allowed it to be nearly indistinguishable from real life then you could push the envelope of what it means to survive..but when it comes to a game...you can't just expect something to be more realistic because it's learning curve is so extreme.. You have to cater to the players, otherwise..despite the popularity of this mod right now....I can guarantee you'll lose a large audience if issues like this are not addressed.

So I've spent quite a while on this one. All day brainstorming potential ideas, trying to get the music perfect.. recording with a friend for 2 hours. Writing a script. Refining it down to 6 and a half minutes....here I am 3am in the morning...with work tomorrow...and my creative juices are flowing.. Part 4. Day 353? ..Doesn't matter!

Thanks for the tip Arhodus :) I'll take that into consideration for sure. I'm not savvy with Arma2/Dayz controls so all the help I can get will really allow me to get better shots and such Thank you guys for the support! I've gained about 20 subscribers in the last 2 days from this it feels so great. I've decided to take the series a step further. The videos will be much more refined and focused. I have been brainstorming all night and day and have come up with an idea that is going to be just awesome to do! The idea is evolving the more I think about it and talk with my close friend about.. so I will need more time to produce the content, but it will all be worth it. I'm lost for words, thank you Neko. The response has been very good(in the form of likes) but I hope to evolve the idea into something more people can enjoy. Feedback from the public is important so that I know what I need to do in order to be succesfull. I'm currently uploading the second part and I hope you'll enjoy it. Should be within the next 30 minutes or so.
