jackdee (DayZ)

i bought arma for teh dayz mod and that is it not for anything else, Hackers = WANKERS, yea they have stopped a lot of people playing but on the other hand so haves some of the bad glitches, i personally haven't been able to play for abt 8 weeks now all because i died when i broke my legs at the airport( not sure which one) and my character got corrupted, still not sure if ill buy this tbh as a stand alone game.

good luck with getting any help at all, i haven't been able to play for nearly 7 weeks now and its got to the point now where rocket can shove it up his ass, coz thats how i feel abt it.

Think you may be right mate, if this is how they look after customers then i think WarZ might be the better option in the end, i bought arma for this mod alone, wish i hadn't bothered tbh.

got no chance of a fix i have not been able to play for nearly 5/6 weeks, they not interested in this any more, they want to get the stand alone version out.

well that sucks big time then waste of time posting, dont think ill bother with the stand alone when it comes out, thanks for nothing.

@madmardigan mines been over two weeks now, i dont think they read these forums i even started my own topic in troubling shooting not had a reply at all.

Hi all had to post this coz not sure if mods or admin can see it any where else. I'm running Arma Beta 1.62.95883 and Dayz 1.7.2.5. was playing the game 11days ago on US 1211 abt 20 mins into game the graphics glitched really badly so bad i had to alt-f4 out of the game coz i could even see the exit menu, and ever since then i cant get back into any servers and i have tried a lot, when i do try and join a game it tries to create a character then goes to loading screen where it can sit for 5mins or until i press esc 3hrs later or it will give me this error "This server is running an incorrect version of the server side application. You cannot play on this server. If you are the server admin please contact DayZ staff." onevery server i try without any success so is it possible to get a character reset i have read that it has worked for others with the same problem, so can this been done plz?? name --Jackdee ID 44106630 TIA

@swank, yea when they work m8 they're brill but when they don't it's a pain in the ass lol Steam folder should look like this m8. c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ HTH

Yea i do care but still doesn't mean i'll buy it, reason i am posting is to see how long it will take them to sort out this big problem, so far i haven't be able to play the DayZ mod since last wed/thurs, yea i can understand that this is an Alpha and there are going to be some problems with it for all concerned, but christ almighty don't any mods read these forums posts?? and pass on the info/probs to the devs to sort out, it would seem not. Which is a shame imo, but hey who am i to complain!!!!!

tbh killuchen i dont think they get a rats ass, they prolly working on the stand alone version so all of us mere mortals don't matter, so with that in mind i want be buying the stand alone version, if they cant be bothered to fix the alpha what are the chances they won't bother with full game!!1

@Swank: I did the same as you too all to no avail, i even got hold off Play withSix but doesn't work either well for me and have now been stuck on the loading screen for over 3hrs, normally after ten mins i get this msg >> This server is running an incorrect version of the server side application. Tbh think ill give up and go back to Blackops at least that works.

@ray, it doesn't work m8 i tried it and still nothing been sat on the loading screen for over 2.5 hrs,,,cant even connect to any games with it in the server list nowt happens.

do they care and do the devs/mods read these forums seems not, which is a real shame with the amount of people that are having this issue, can someone at least let us know what's going on???
