What the hell are you still even saying? The problem was at the Exthreads not being at 7, and not having everything up on "high". Now that everything is up on high, it's running flawleslly, same like battlefield 3. You can shut the hell up on blaming the computer now, because it's just fine, and yes, now i'm freely telling you to bugger off, since I know my PC wasn't the problem. And the Processor, fyi, isn't underclocked, it's to preserve battery life (this is the standard computer setting), turbo boost kicks in when a game application starts, and clocks to 3,10Ghz, I don't know what the **** you're saying. Now please, go away :) Edit: Yes, i'm angry at people that start old discussions again, that have been explained in so many previous posts. You're saying my computer can't run it because it's bad, but yet, it's running it very damn well right now, and I already said this computer was made for playing BF3 aswell, which it also does, on a great FPS. So just stop trying to blame stuff on my PC and act like you know it all, because it's not the PC. I'm not even saying my PC is "amazing", i'm saying it's well-suited for gaming. Just not on high-end. Anyway, rant over. So all you people trying to talk bad over my specs, just go away, I don't need your stupid "know-it-all" information here, because it's simply not true, face it already. And to all of you who did put constructive info up here, thanks a lot. Tweaking those final settings finally were what I needed!

That actually did help my FPS by quite a bit :) running some servers on 24 fps now, which is proper enough to play :) Cheers a lot mate, and now that you mention it, it does sound like a breathmint lol.. But yeah, it's meant to keep the processor cool when it starts running on high levels. Thanks! Confirmed that it worked in combination with a previous post, thanks :) Even although razer is definitly top-notch, it's not the only exception. There are plenty of laptops capable of doing good gaming, thanks to the other guys, i'm now playing it quite well.

What exactly is going on? All of a sudden nearly ALL my servers are no longer connected to the hive or are in a state that's currently not playable.. Anyone else having this? Me and a friend both have it.. Any ideas?

I'm basing this on the fact that I'm able to run Battlefield 3 on medium, which I KNOW is intensive, hence why you're not going to tell me that this game demands more than BF3. Can you please stop smacking people in the face? This thread was created to help me resolve my issue, and as I said millions of times before, i'm basing the on the MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS. I'm running BF3 flawlessly, which is a **** lot more hard to run than this game. Please just leave my thread, you're not being very constructive, you're just breaking my view of a fix, which i KNOW can be achieved. Since there are so many people out here with a lot more out-of-tune graphics card, that does run it flawlessly. Now please, stop filling this thread with that stuff, I don't even want to hear it, just rant in a PM, but stop wasting my time now. I realise this, and as I said, I've hopped many server before :) The german servers seem to break my FPS to 5, the french ones for now have gotten them to 15+. Now i'm just trying to find something that goes to the actual "said" 60 fps, but no luck. Thanks though.

I know, I know, just checking :) Just confirming, I'm not ranting. And you have to make me sound like a braindead 11 year-old? No where did I EVER make myself appear as an insufficient schooled person, so there's no need to become kid-like when giving me a response. Before I even made this post, I want to make CLEAR to you, I've checked a hell lot of things, to make sure to avoid posts like yours. My CPU is not the highest end, no, but it does come with turboboost technology, that kicks in at gaming processes to reach 3,1Ghz, which makes it an above-average processor, just not high-end like the 4,0+Ghz Processors, which SHOULD'NT be required for this game. Now, for my cooling system, Coolsense is a new technology, and my laptop never goes above 35°C. I monitor this ALL the time, that's what the technology was designed for. Now for your intel HD graphics sentence, I have been sitting in the Catalyst Control Center for a long while, and made SURE, it runs off of the Radeon HD card on High Performance. And yes, it increased the CPU usage more, but still only at 40%. This laptop WAS indeed sold as a gaming laptop in the sections, and I DID get information before even considering the purchase. Please don't say foolish things like your post if you don't know what I did. If you read up to my posts, you would've known, or could've derived it from what I said. Now stop blaming everything on my laptop, it's not at fault, please.

Aw, I have the same server situation, but my laptop is litterly only 6 months old. And checking the system requirements, I definitly surpass them, and that makes it more confusing. Thanks for the input! That's alright, any solution gets me a step closer, Thanks! ;) I do meet the minimal requirements though, far past that even :)

I've tried doing that before ;) When i try this in the regular Arma, this improves FPS by a HELL lot! But unfortunately, it did not change anything for me while in DayZ :( . Thanks though, i'll keep on looking ;)

Yeah I don't know, I've just been looking for a solution for so long, not just for me, but for my friends aswell. As you can see above, I've tried tweaking so much already, it get's fatigueing ;) Would just love to see a final solution.

Since i'm a guy that doesn't easily get frustrated, let me just say this: Your input on this thread is absolutely futile. Have you even spitted up -anything- useful yet? If you're here to troll and bite, please just leave the thread, I'm looking for solutions. But since you're nagging on my laptop, as seen above, there's someone with half my specs, and he runs flawlessly, so please, read up. I can run Arma II normal with about 60 FPS, and run battlefield 3 on medium settings flawlessly, so don't tell me I can't run this game, thanks. Good rig. :) I don't have the Gfx Geforce card so i'm not sure. But I've pretty much downloaded a new driver a few days ago, yet with no avail. I will try to look again today though, maybe I missed something. If anyone knows a link for my specific card (Amd Radeon 7xxxM HD), that would be appreciated aswell.

Thanks a lot for your help, but I recently just told someone I have that new coolsense system in my laptop, which puts the heat-issue far out of the way unfortunately, if that would've fixed the problem though, that would've been amazing ;) Thanks for the thoughts. That's an amazing rig you've got there ;) But i'm sure my PC should be able to fully run this game on high FPS, since I can run battlefield 3 just fine! But yeah, for now i'm still hoping for a way more advanced standalone. I hope the final improvements will affect it overall. If this game had amazing FPS for everyone too, I'm sure it would grow a lot more popular. And yeah, Some servers lag to 5 FPS for me, after the restart they're at 11-12'ish FPS. If i get lucky, i get a server with 18 FPS tops. Thanks for all the help here.

Well jolly, thanks. No idea mate, this computer came out with the new CoolSense system, which is a high advanced cooling system, my computer always remains at a very low temp, So I've no idea. But thanks for the input!

Oh, in addition to my spec post, if there are some real tech-guys watching, Let me just sum up my process of changing: Client side: Not using Six Updater Anymore, turned out a HELL to find friends. Am now using DayZ commander. (Think about hiring this guy rocket, he's actually done well.) In-game: In the Arma2OA.Cfg: FSAA=0; postFX=0; GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=0; HDRPrecision=8; lastDeviceId=""; localVRAM=1120931840; nonlocalVRAM=2147483647; vsync=0; AToC=0; PPAA=0; PPAA_Level=0; Ramdisk: Steam Launcher Options: -CpuCount=4 -nosplash -high -noPause -world=empty -exThreads=1 So as you can see, a lot was changed.

I dearly hope so. I can understand that, but how is it that the FPS used to be fine? Wasn't it arma-tweaked yet or..? Well then I can not understand. I have a Hp pavilion Dv7 i7-2670QM CPU @ 2,20Ghz (TurboBoost enabled > 3.10Ghz) AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series Intel HD graphics family 8Gb DDR3 Ram (Quad Core) 700Gb Sata HDD (Thanks to SirDieALot) Internet specs: bandwith: 2Tb - Unlimited Download: 42Mb/S Upload: 24Mb/S It's litterly impossible that it's my computer.
