Do you play solo? I love the M24 but i think i'd take the DMR if you don't want the AS50. SVD is fine too. Using Mildots is actually very easy. Sometimes i use them even if i have rangefinder (or if the rangefinder is bugged again).

Found one today. Got a M107 and a Bizon... dropped the Bizon a few minutes later for a L85A2 that i found in a tent... still don't get the point of this thread tho.

I want drugs in this game! Taking them to boost my speed, health, vision, everything! Turn me into a fucking killing machine for like 30 minutes before i die so i can walk trough Electro with my M240 with no recoil and be like the Terminator. But seriously... i don't think that's a good idea. I mean it's not bad but... i don't know.

There's so much I'd like to see... but let my try to keep it short. To be honest i'm not even sure if some things are already in the game but if they are they might need to be put more emphasis on. Realism - All buildings enterable. - Not dying of thirst in the rain. - Slower movespeed based on the stuff you carry also faster hunger/thirst the more weight you carry. - Slower movespeed in the rain because of mud (not streets, buildings, etc.) - Big weapons shouldn't fit in your backpack (AS50, M107) or take a long time to disassemble/assemble and need a toolbox to do so. - Sluggish feeling for bigger weapons! For example if you swing your AS50 from left to right as fast as you can there should be some momentum to it. Kinda like in Mario lol - Agile feeling for smaller weapons! Being able to swing your MP5 from left to right faster than your M249 or AS50 with no momentum at all. - M14 mags should fit my FAL!!!! ffs - I want to eat dem pumpkins! Or wear them as a hat! Weapons - More weapons, etc. etc. - Weapons shouldn't feel out of place. No Predator style Gatling pls. - Maybe attachments? - Different Ammo. Tracer, HP, etc. - Dual wielding pistols just for fun. - Maybe even bigger noise for some weapons so you have to think twice about shooting. - Make some weapons really, really rare! (This is more of a hack/dupe issue tho) - I want to attack with my hunting knife... :'( Gear - Bullet proof vest and helmets! To balance them give them weight and/or reduced mobility. Also snipers would have to aim at your head/face. At least M24, DMR, etc. To balance the reduced damage you take with the other weapons make 2 to 3 fast hits to the chest with an AR/Shotgun and 4 to 6 with a MP/Pistol knock you unconscious. I know this would be a huge change in gameplay but the fact that we have L85A2 AWS and AS50 but no bulletproof vests feels kinda odd. But it's just some random idea i had. - More cammo! I want urban cammo! Wood cammo! Desert cammo! Cammo is fun! Of course there a loads of things i would like to see. I'm sure everyone has this "perfect zombie survival game" in his mind but right now the biggest problem seems to be the hacking/duping of stuff. Rare weapons are too easy to find. Hackers can fuck you up. Bugs can fuck you up. But it's still alpha so i don't really mind. I would just like to see more realism when it comes to the "feeling" of the weapons and the gameplay. They should "feel" real and also not out of place. Also some variety to spice things up a bit.

Seriously i did the exact same thing once! I died and found a Bus a few minutes later. Was a bitch to get it out between two trees but damn it was fun. Driving through the big cities honking like an idiot... driving over people. Visiting Balota airfield to get my revenge with style.

I really hope OP is trolling... i really do. Elektro is a pretty cool place. Went there today with my M107. There was a war going on there. People shooting everywhere. AS50, DMR, AK74... everything. A chopper flying over Elektro a few times. Was total fun. I was watching 2 guys kill some unarmed fool in one of the military buildings. Wanted to kill them but the voyeur in me was stronger. After they left the building one of them got shot. Then i see some guy with an assault rifle. He has a firefight with the other guy and kills him too. Karma i guess. Being a sniper asshole i killed him while he tried to loot them... on the open field. Just after that i see another guy to the left with an AK. Wanted to kill him but instead watched him. Someone else killed him. After a few minutes i hear someone next to me. It was the DMR sniper. I'm a fool for switching to my secondary and moving because he heard that. He shoots the tree but can't see me. Im too dumb to spray and pray with my PDW. He eventually hits me and i'm dead. Fuck alt+f4 i don't care. Someone has to die. Good thing is i managed to get all my stuff. He didn't take anything. Thanks bro. Bad thing is a few minutes later a hacker teleported every player on the server in the sky and everyone fell down and died... Still kinda pissed but who cares. I knew that Electro is dangerous and that's why i went there. I had fun spying on people and killing them. And watching people with hatchets run on the open field with a shitload of zombies behind them. No need to kill them, i already have a hatchet.

Found a dead hacker the other day too. Had As50 TWS and other shit. Rangefinder, NVG, GPS, Ghillie (on body), etc. Was too paranoid about the TWS and burried it with his body. Killed some guy a few seconds later. Was very close to the corpse. Had FAL with NV scope, Ghillie, Rangefinder, NVG, etc. For some reason he was no bandit. Still kinda pissed for not taking the TWS...

lol no I think the AWM is one of the sexiest rifles ever! But i feel like the L85A2 AWS is kinda Sci-Fi for a place like Chernarus. Don't know why, just feels that way. Kinda ruins the hide and seek element of the game... Other weapons can break bones too... and the FAL is sexier than the M14 so give me a FAL with scope instead of DMR. Or give me both. And make them share ammo i mean really...

Ah yes the good old what gun would you like to see in the game... I think the weapons we have right now are not that bad some choices don't make much sense imo. Spoiler: This is not a baaaaw post! First of all, think about what kind of weapons would you find in Chernarus! Like why do we need two .50 rifles? I mean they're great but really? Leave the M82 (M107) in game. You could add a KSVK or a OSV-96 but those aren't really accurate... I personally think one anti-materiel rifle is enough and the M107 is a good choice. Add a .338 Lapua and/or a .300WM rifle like the AWM or a Sako rifle for example. M24 and DMR are fine. SVD is fine. CZ550 is fine. Maybe switch the DMR with a Galil Sniper or something. Too many US Snipers in the game. A SV-98 would be nice too. Anyway, that's my view on the sniper rifles in game. A mix of US and USSR or Russian sniper rifles would be nice imo. One anti-materiel is enough. Pistols: All of them are good. Maybe add the Tokarew TT-33. Can't really complain about pistols. Crossbow: meh Shotguns: Yeah... don't know what to say about them... don't really care. SMGs: That's where we could get HUGE improvements! I mean most people won't use them but anyway. UMP, Uzi, PPSh-41, Scorpion vz.61 (more like sidearm)... Assault rifles: Most of them are ok... But the L85A2 AWS... really? Don't want to bitch about that gun but it just kinda feels out of place. A SUSAT scope would be better. Actually it would be nice to have like 4 Assault rifles with scopes like SUSAT or ACOG to have a nice transition from normal assault to scoped to sniper. LMGs: Everything seems fine with them. That's just what i think. i actually would prefer more WW2 weapons especially German ones like the MP40, FG42, k98 and MG42 but that's just me being a fanboy. In the end i simply think one anti-materiel rifle is enough. The L85A2 AWS seems out of place (Give me a NTW-20, Lathi L-39, XM109 or a VSSK Vychlop if you put in a gun like that!!!) and there's a serious lack of SMGs even tho most people wouldn't use them anyway.

Shoot people? Yes! Shoot everyone? Depends... When i started playing the game i was you friendly average noob. Scared of zombies, no weapon, no clue where to go, all that stuff. The first time i found a hatchet i killed like 18 zombies before dying. I didn't care. To be honest i can't even remember my first kill on another player. The important thing is: I got killed many many times by other players. Let me tell you some stories that turned me into a "Bandit", "Asshole", "One of them", call it whatever you want. Going to Balota airfield with a friend. Tower is clear, got a M14 AIM and my friend got an AK or something. First barrack is clear. Second barrack there is a guy. As soon as he sees my friend he starts shooting. No talking, no writing, nothing. My friend dies and i kill the guy. Now i know that it's a dangerous area. You see two survivors with weapons, naturally you try to kill them if you're alone and you have nowhere to run, i understand that. Another one. I was spawning somewhere in the water. WTF? I swim to the coast. Suddenly i see 2 guys. Both with DMR. I write "pls kill me i spawned in the water." No reaction... I follow them. Suddenly another guys appears with a M107 or AS50, can't remember. He's part of their group. I write "pls kill me!!!!". Still no reaction. I steal 2 bloodbags from one of them after they dropped a hatchet for me... wtf? Anyway, i follow them into a town. I kill the zombies they aggro with my hatchet. We raid the town, i get a weapon and some stuff. Food, Map, etc. They walk towards a tent in the middle of the town. Empty. Suddenly the Sniper guy kills me... I helped them. I could have even killed 2 of them. I mean yeah, i stole 2 bloodbags. Big deal. Why did they never respond to what i wrote? I helped them and killed the zombies they aggroed. I didn't even care. Usually i don't kill unarmed people. I don't want to waste bullets on them. I even told a noob not to come close as i would kill him. He didn't listen. I stood up to throw a smoke at him... got shot by someone else. The noob died a few seconds after me. I only had one single person talk to me. He had a hatchet and asked if i would kill him. I told him that he should just keep his distance with his hatchet and everything is fine. I didn't kill him. The weird part is that the first person i met in this game... gave me a rifle. And then ran away. Zombies chasing him. I took out the zombies. Never saw that guy again. Never said a word. Or every person i asked to "kill me pls" just ran away in panic or didn't do shit at all... why? I have a broken leg and want them to kill me. They run away... Now i am "that guy" who waits in the bushes with his sniper for 1 hour just to shoot you if he feels like it. I still don't kill unarmed people. But if i see a dead person and you are close i will shoot you if you have a weapon. No questions asked... The problem is that, at least from my experience, nearly nobody will try to communicate with you. They just fire at you. As the guy before me just said: "The community exists in the forum 'not' in the game!"
