I'm going to cut straight to the case. I was playing on LU442 hosted by vilayer.com. All of a sudden I get a ban message. Then I checked and saw nobody was playing anymore on the server. My friends also told me they had gotten banned. So I just wanted to clear things up. I would really like access to my camp.

It's only ever funny to be drunk in-game if you're actually drunk. What's fun about your screen being fuzzy and turning? Anyone with a half-working mind would not drink alcohol in DayZ. Also, DayZ is not an MMORPG. Nor should it become one.

They're never going to stop working on the mod, no matter how bad of a situation it gets in. Rocket stated that even when the standalone is released they will still focus on the mod.

Because it's impossible to find that gun unless it's hacked in. Maybe a hacker spawned one and swamped it for a gun he found at a crash site. That sounds like the only logical explanation. Edit: maybe it wasn't a chopper crash site that randomly spawn. Maybe it was an actual chopper that the hacker had stored gear in and crashed with.

PDW-SD is a hacked weapon. You should get rid of it.

Who says 2 bandits can't just shoot and heal eachother over and over untill they have a hero skin? It's an easy way to trick people and I'm sure it has been done before.

You always have to look at it this way. If there weren't any duped or scripted in weapons. Then the L85 would be super rare to encounter. Just like the 50cals they're only a problem because there are so many.

So first off let me say that I'm against combat logging, not because it's an easy way out of a hard situation. But because it ruins the fun. But today I made an exception. I was on my way to Putoshka, when all of a sudden I see a UH-1H Huey Note I was playing on a server with no record of hackers, and there was only about 3 people in the server. I figured that somebody was looting stuff from the supermarket and didn't think anybody would find his helicopter. So naturally I tried to snatch it. As soon as I lifted off, all of a sudden... *BAM* Someone shot me with what I think was a .50cal. The helicopter started spinning out of control and crashed. Against all odds I managed to survive the crash with 2k blood. Luckily I fell out of the helicopter near a bush. As I took cover and bandaged myself, all of a sudden I'm fully healed back to 12k (note I didn't even have 12k blood when I took the helicopter). Someone approaches me... >Hey can you hear me? -yeah.. >Don't shoot we're friendly -friendly? you shot me straight out of the air! >yeah sorry for that, luckily you survived >we just want to pick up a gun we wont shoot you. I do actually here shots but they sounded more like little explosions. As I scroll to take my handgun I see: "take weapon AS50 TWS" Now I was certain that I was dealing with hackers. I didn't care if they said they were friendly. An AS50 isn't meant to be friendly and definitely not if it has thermal vision. So I logged out. This made me think. Maybe it's not so bad after all to have a system where you can instantly log out. After all it's an alpha game and many things are broken, it's a fair way to balance the game by not having a logout timer. Any thoughts?

Destroy that, you will get more satisfaction if you find the gear yourself.

Chances are that if you use the sniper to camp, it will be harder to find you. Not that much noise + camo = stealth. Of course I'm going to assume you will use it with a ghillie suit. Otherwise it's not worth it.
