Manners and respect is seriously lacking, its all about egotrip. Empathy and other similar features are developed in late teens, therefor are most KoS (those who does it in inappropriate manner) are referd to as kids, they havent developed mentally enough, but it comes late for some people. -

Battleye have a great history. but in dayz mod it was awful - its not due to the battleyeclient, rather the game architecture im sure.

to much serverjumping will make your char reset. and this is, as you expected, due to the server missing/failing to connect to the hive, and when you log on and keep playing on a new char it overwrites your stored char on the hive with the new empty one. (rocket confirm). Ppl just need to chill down and dont jump around so much. Check your charscreen before switching servers and make sure it has recoverd your specific char. if not - turn game off for a few and retry when servers have catched up.

Becuse there hasent been any info that there wont be any highpower sniperrifles and/or any thermals in Mod OR SA. No official information at all. So im still going at it. This is not a FPS fast-action-game, therefor i do not play bf4 or any other "fastfood"-game. I want the stalking and the several hours you spend just clearing a small local area. No other game can give u this and its purley in survival instinct. And no, the only "mental" people here are the once who never learned the map good enough to avoid the obvious dangers ahead or spent to little time just legging it tru the forest/towns. It should take you several hours just to approach a town to make sure there is no threat. But hey, i dont expect anyone to enjoy survival that much. But i do and therefor i want them to return. And no, it wouldnt be the end of SA. Thats just the view from your personal referense. But if we shall belive in the pure numbers/knowledge from the mod we have the conclution that highpowerd sniperrifles actualy increased the enjoyment/total playerbase of the game (during the early beta and up to the firest Mod-Mod's like taviania etc the numbers of players just keept increasing). We will see what SA brings and how it looks with the new mechanics. But dont refer to bullshit that aint official and then state that its this or death. You obv enjoy casual survival concept with user interactions. Personaly i prefer the lonely forest and the cold steel of my riffle, i do not wish to interact with anyone - but if i do its a well planned/orchisterd bullet to the head that took over 3 hours just to set up. Thats the rewarding enjoyment of this game for me. And if you have any other personal preferences i gladly hear about them.

I left the mod when they removed the AS50. Even if it did 1 damage per 10 bullets i would still use it. The 5k hours i spent in the mod was mainly due to the as50 guns, i started out early in the mod when the thermal was still arround. When i think back about it that was the prime-time of dayz mod. So much fun and great battles. The gun itself wasent the OP part becuse most ppl couldnt aim for shit. The OP part was the thermal. I hope we will see thermal scopes returning in SA if as50 dosent. I play alone for most of my time and i play very serious. The joy for me is the 500meter move that takes over 2 hours, where you scout everywhere - once in location u spend another 5 hours just looking at a specific location to get that 1 shoot off and then pull back. I love to have these riffles reutnring in SA. well, to be honest, i will not enjoy SA at all if there is no highpowerd sniperriffles. IF there will be highpower sniperriffles i will crank over 15 hours a day just lurking in the woods. Settings up locations, scouting the range to each and every tree. This is what the game is about for me.

Is there any good vanilla servers that still have AS50 in it ? -
I was about to start this game again but im putting it on hold. if the AS50 get removed there is no joy for me. i love this weapon in any aspect - if it was a survival apocalypse IRL id use mine , never let go of it ^^ I dont mind when people use it and im more then happy when i get one. Id use it even if it did 1 damage per shoot. Lets hope it stays and ill reconsider!
