Hi guys, i will buy arma 2 in a few moments, but i have a question : Is it possible to play dayz if i use the free to play version of arma 2, and i buy operation arrowhead ? Thank you for your help guys.

What happened : I bought arma 2 today, finished the installation 2 hours ago and then tried to find a server what happened : i directly spawned in the wilderness I have the 95948 arma 2 beta patch -

Me too i was saying 'i will buy arma 2 just for dayZ' Then i realized how that game is amazing And seriously, 10-15 dollars for the standalone game, it's nothing And if you want to buy it, then buy it Note : You can use the free version of arma 2 (available on steam, you search for arma 2 on steam, and click to 'download demo', in reality, it's not the demo, it's arma 2 with bad textures and sound). BUT if you use the free version of arma 2, you will have to BUY the extension (operation arrowhead) So it will not be 30 dollarss, but 15 dollars, with bad textures and sounds. -

DayZ on console, casual gaming will increase a LOT, i hope DayZ will not be a big casual game in the next years and stay the same 'hardcore' game.

AND, the game is only in alpha, there will be a lot of very cool things in the standalone game, like building huts etc..

Yeah, you will have to pay the DayZ standalone (around 15-20), and you DID NOT PAID for dayz, you paid for ARMA 2. (And seriously, 15 dollars, it"s nothing for that game who deserves more)

Dude, it"s the 3rd time in a day i"m saying it : AT THE MOMENT, DAYZ IS NOT A MOTHAF*CKA GAME, IT"S THE ALPHA VERSION OF A FUTURE GAME. When it will be im a standalone, there will not be glitches, h4ckers, scripters etc... And there will be a lot of cool things.. -

Dude, at the moment, it"s NOT A GAME, it"s an ALPHA, so there is a lot of glitches and h4cking is very easy. Standalone game will be better, with very good things, no bugs::: It"s NORMAL that there is a lot of hackers -
