So I'm using an Arma 2 Editor to test FPS in Cherno and at the moment a have minimum of 25 fps. I was wondering if it is possible to have a minimum of 60 fps in that town? The change of settings doesn't really change the FPS. And when I'm asking how, I mostly mean what hardware do a need to buy to solve this problem. Maybe SSD can help? My current PC. I love to play DayZ with the music on. Rocket said that Day SA will probably ship with no music, that means I will have to run dayz music in my player while playing DayZ SA. But I can't find a place to download DayZ Ost. Can someone extract dayz ost from pbo files a put a link to ogg\wav\mp3 files here?

I know about animals zombie sounds. But there is another bug, when I constantly hear zombie sounds, drink sound, ammo loading sound. And I had a mic problem too.

For example I hame my mosin scope that I can't attach to the rifle, probably cause it's ruined. But can I fix it?

I was hoped to hear some new music in SA.

8350 was awesome even for current ones. Basically Arma 2 is the only game I had problems with. But since I play Day Z more then all other games combined, switching to intel was a necessity for me. I didn't like it, but I had no chose, since even last AMD processor didn't solved performance problem for Arma 2 & 3. And I actually thank gods that at least on intel I can play this game comfortably, cause a lot of people on forums said a PC that can give you 60 fps in Cherno simply do not exist. And those statements was pretty believable since Arma 2 uses only up to 3 CPU cores or something like that.

Arma 2 hates AMD. I had this processor with a nice overclock and GTX 680, and my fps was petty shity. My friend got latest AMD processor with overclock, fps was also not that great. After switching my processor to i7 my fps doubled. Even my work PC with overclocked Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9550 gives me more fps then FX-8350.

I don't kill only unarmed and my friends. :) I like to be bandit. When I play dayz a lot without killing I start to feel need to kill, like a serial killer, which is a bit worrying :) But I got to admit this wasn't the case for the first moths of dayz. I just like the challenge of it, when I see a group of high skill players, I don't run, I try to kill them all. And when I do, I got a huge rush of dopamine in my blood, which makes me feel good till the end of a day. The sole reason of this topic was to find a hardware to play DayZ comfortably. I was not expecting a holy war in this topic. But it seems you want one :( The fact that it is based on an old engine, doesn't change the fact that Arma 2 performs bad on AMD processors, that it doesn't give a dam about multy cores systems, and it runs bad on pretty much everything. And I'm not comparing arma 2 performance with "normal FPS" whatever it means. I'm comparing it with any game I've ever played (MMO, Openworld RPGs, Openworld FPS...) From all games I've ever played, including some pretty bad optimized titles, Arma 2 still holds a flag of the game with the lowest performance. "Arma2 will never be "optimized" as we already have ArmA3 out." Well I know. They need to write new engine or rewrite oldone for those problems to be solved. Same case with Arma3, since they basically used same engine with enhancements.

This topic isn't about ssd performance. I don't see the need to shut it down, cause some people might still have some questions. Also compering fps when recording software working in background is a bad idea.
