Just wanted to post that AMD released new drivers: Radeon™ Software Adrenalin 21.11.3 Highlights Fixed Issues Driver timeouts or game crashes may be experienced by some users while playing Battlefield™ 2042 on some AMD Graphics products such as Radeon™ RX 6900 XT Graphics. While playing DayZ™, some users may experience stuttering or poor performance on some AMD Graphics products such as Radeon™ RX 5700 XT Graphics. Some users may experience elevated disk space consumption by the Multimedia Athena Dumps folder. Can someone confirm it was indeed fixed? I am at work and cannot test until evening 🙂

I can add my 2 cents as well. DayZ is unplayable in big cities on 3440x1440 with an RX 5700XT and Ryzen 7 3700X. No matter what settings or driver version, I get 20-40 FPS in towns.

Fact is you can't effectively hide tents and stashes, so the only option to secure them to some extent are the bases. It's true, they have their flaws, but they do add a lot of diversity to game play and should imho remain in the game. If someone is having a problem with a base hoarder, he should get some of his peers and break into the base. It's not that hard. It's actually pretty easy to break down a wall. Too easy perhaps. On Europa we had a lot of good fights defending and attacking bases.

3-6 crashsites each restart. You have to look for them. Also, take notice, that each restart there are 2-3 crashsites, and after a while new ones appear on the server. So, after about 2 hours after restart, there should be 5-6 of them on the server.

R4Z0R why are the SA58P and G36A gonna be removed from the loot spawns? Problems with attachments?

I never got infected by drinking directly from the well. And I play that game a lot! R4Z0R49, what humanity bug will be fixed in 1.8.6? Thank you for the answer!

You can also drink directly from the well (using the scroll menu) and it's 100% safe. You do have to boil all the bottled water to be 100% safe as well.

I second that. It's not hard to find a melee weapon or a sidearm in the first settlement you come upon. In the meantime you just have to stay out of sight and not get cornered by zeds. Simple really.

Look at the following screenshot: I killed a player and I turned to bandit. As soon as I put on the soldier clothing my journal shows me as a survivor, is that normal, shouldn't there be a bandit?

It's not just the fps drop, actions become laggy as well (click on bandage, and the animation starts 10-15 seconds later. Same with switching weapons).

After 1.8.4.1 I have to restart the game every 10-15 minutes, because my fps are halved and the game is unplayable. Any solution to this?

Temp system has a few problems: on top of most of buildings you're gaining temperature, even when rain is falling on you. Also, in some buildings (like southern crane in Chernogorsk and southern cranes in Elektrozavodsk) you're losing temperature, even if you're inside. Also, you're losing temperature in a helicopter if you're flying above water.

Zombies panting (out of breath) all the time is intentional or bug?

Hi all! Since about 1.8.3 was released or soon afterwards I started getting micro stutters in the game. They are most noticable when moving fast (running, driving,flying) and looking at an object sideways (like a tree, bush or house you're running past). The movement should be fluid, but instead it's jerky/stuttery and it's really annoying. FPS are not a problem. Except in Elektro and Cherno well above 50FPS at all times. I tried everything, from testing/switching hardware, reinstalling complete system, game, changing graphics drivers, changing game settings. I can't pinpoint the cause. Any ideas? System Specs: Intel i5-4670K @ 4.2GHz Crucial Ballistix Sport DIMM kit 16GB, DDR3-1600, CL9-9-9-24 @ 1.6GHz ASUS R9290-DC2-4GD5 DirectCU II, Radeon R9 290, 4GB GDDR5 @ 1.0GHz ASRock Z87 Extreme4 Samsung SSD 830 Series 128GB WD Red 2TB

I have it installed on SSD so that is not a problem. But thanks guys, I thought I was all alone in this and was slowly losing my mind :)

After the latest Battleeye update RivaTunerStatisticsServer + HWiNFO (to show my FPS, temperatures...) stopped working on my ARMA2OA and DayZ mod. Any help appreciated! [EDIT] Got AMD Gaming Evolved working.

I just broke the one million minus humanity and this happened:

Also one annoying bug in 1.8.3. If I log out on the first or second floor of the building. When I log in, I'm on the ground floor glitched, like here at the new compound east of Lopatino:

Another bug: I drove a pbx when I changed from survivor to bandit. I was kicked out of PBX and was sitting on the seaground without any possibility to move. I relogged and all my gear was gone.

I don't get it how I could get teleported if I logged out normally because of server restart. Then after server restart I want to login and I got the message. I don't like being branded as a hacker/cheater when in fact i'm not, just because you're running some weird BE filters!
