This should be the priority, Game runs horribly slow, especially in towns. -
Can you please post your system and game settings? I have an FX-8350, 8GB memory, HD7950 and an SSD. The game runs like crap at 1680x1050 even with postprocessing disabled. Arma 2 runs way smoother and looks way better, apart the fancy sun. I do know it's alpha, but the engine ain't new.

How long can it actually take, like the maximum time limit? Is it known?

What I noticed with the latest hotfix: - very hard to find food and soda cans (markets spawn mostly empty tin cans, all the loot spawns actually) - zombies have almost no loot - animals are really rare to find - all fresh spawned vehicles are completely broken (all wheels damaged) Are you trying to turn people away from the mod?

Private hives didn't kill the vanilla dayz. Hackers and cheaters did. I still play vanilla dayz but on a private hive. I don't say it's hackers free, but at least not as many. -
When I'm alone in an area, there is no loot, but as soon as more people are in the same area, loot spawns like mad. Loot pile on a loot pile.

Well, I log in in Berezino, I check the tents and nothing, I check the north supermarket and find one loot pile (empty can, soda) move south and nothing in south supermarket and nothing in the hospital and nothing in the pub. I also checked all the other little spawn points with zilch.

The problem is, the whole towns are without loot, not just a building.

I can confirm what Randycat said. I'm also looking for your reply in the issues post but can't find it :( And bodies disappear. Died in Berezino because of zombies and ran back from three valleys, but there was no body and no flies (at the time there was only one other player on the server). It's possible that he hid my body, but very unlikely.

It's unrealistic to go hide yourself in a bush and wait 5 minutes to regain full health. This is not a Battlefield or CoD game! :)

Tent placement in 1.7.7 and 1.7.7.1 is nerfed to the point of "let's make tents unusable and force everyone to use stashes" Just one example: On top of Olsha there is a nice place for a tent between some rocks and a bush: But no, the game finds the placement restricted, turns you 45 degrees and places the tent there: I mean, I get that you wanted for people to stop putting tents into rocks and in the water, but this is too far...

Ok, some more of the bizarre restrictions: 1. Well, a normal size tent should clearly have enough space here: 2. Where is my snorkel? 3. Oh, this is supposedly flat enough?!? I don't know if that pisses only me or is everyone else just using stashes now (because shovels and sandbags are plenty)

R4Z0R49: I am using the Makarov SD and I noticed something: zombies around me do get agitated when firing this weapon. Yes, I'm using normal Makarov mags (as I haven't come across any Makarov SD ammo yet) so I cannot confirm it happens only with normal ammo. Anybody with the same experience?

You need a a better graphic card with minimum of 1GB of GDDR5 memory and at least a 256-bit memory interface

SSD makes a LOT of difference. When I started playing Battlefiend 3 on SSD, I was waiting for other players because their maps got loaded so slow. -

I agree, that ultimate defrag is indeed a very decent software. But keep in mind, people with the game and system installed on an SSD do not need defragmentation software. -
thehet you don't know what you're talking about. I'm not trying to place the tents into houses, rocks or under water. I just want to place them at spots where there is enough room and they're flat. But alas, I cannot. And yeah, I shouldn't have fed you, troll!

Loosen up the tent placement restrictions cause they are extreme/ridiculous

It would be, if you could actually hide it, because since last patch, tents are useless.
