I never used to run into hackers at all. Maybe I'm just super unlucky. I kind of want to try playing again.

I really want to like it and I keep giving it a try over and over and I'm disappointed. I want my dayz mod fix but it's so hard to get it without it being a pain in the ass. I really do hope this is a better year for the DayZ team in terms of developing this game and getting it playable. I've played an insane amount of arma 3 bp but i miss chernarus I'm also looking forward to h1z1 coming out in the future so hopefully that'll tie my over until DayZ becomes good. Also for the love of god... do something about these damn hackers

Was waiting by electro dam to meet up with a friend Speed hacker on the road teleporting and whatnot killed me... said he ddos's dayz and hacks in general says he's cool says im a cock sucker Nice. This guy is going places in life.

I've just come back after quite some time to see how things are going. The game seems to run much smoother now but might have something to do with the fact that I have a 780ti/3960x now Lots more content/items But go figure the day a friend and I try to come back the servers are getting ddos'd... We were just talking about how much more playable this game would of become if servers weren't so laggy.

I've been wanting to come back but I'd prefer not to be disappointed. So I'll wait another 3-4 months. I think they said item re-spawns were supposed to happen at the start of the year, lol.

Has this been implemented into the game yet? It's been a long time since I've played the SA cause I was waiting for it to get developed a bit more. Biggest thing that bothered me was no item re-spawns.

Yet it's gonna be close to 2 months when it's actually released. Yet they want our money to play the Alpha. I understand it's an Alpha and it isn't for "playing". But some sort of progress is a must. -

ITT fanboys defend 2 month long waits for a simple patch. It's alright, DayZ should be released by 2018. It's sad, Arma 3 Breaking point is already miles ahead of the SA. I understand it's an Alpha but the progress being made is so flipping slow it's unbearable. -

In a huge open world game auto run is pretty nice. I personally just stick a quarter between W and S. I'd like an auto run button but if they won't add it then I'll just use this technique. -

Since patch 37 is going to be quite late is there a possibility that patch 37+42 will be released at the same time. If so that'll be flippin' awesome!

In the end I don't think there's a wrong way to play it. As long as you aren't cheating.

95% of people aren't friendly? I tried this already when I first started playing the mod when it came out. I also tried it when the SA first came out. I usually just stick to myself or my squad. I've even tried helping fresh spawns and they just try to knock me out.

I end up going around killing people. There's not much to do other then that. I'd love to have some sort of PvE to do or something to keep me occupied other then killing others.
