Wasnt a server wipe. The admins do not have that power. Its a bug. Sometimes when server restarts vehicles and tents are gone, but on the next restart ( or if Admin is paying attention) they will reappear. Most admins will do back to back restarts if they notice their tents are missing too :)

Chicago 50 Running from Berezino to treeline 13:27 PM Running to treeline evertime I get close I get teleported backwards 2-3 minutes. 3rd time a player is waiting for me in treeline, he shoots he misses. I unload on him. I teleport backwards again. He continues to shoot at me where I am teleported too. I run to get closer to player shooting me, then I flank him, he teleports me back. Everyday there is something new. Only reason I am alive is Global Kicked him and reset the server.

OMG I was running around looking for Jerry Cans and found two tents...one had another Bizon in it LOL. 2 of these weapons and no ammo.

Does the ammo only drop at crash sites too?

So I have a tent inside a complex area. I run there and see a guy crawling, I open fire. He disconnects. I run to check tent, its looted, oh well. It happens. 2 minutes later bullets whiz by my head, I run into the busted up building. Zombies screaming. 1 minute later Zombies are silenced and despawned. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs, bandit takes shotgun blast to back of the skull, I loot his M4 run it back to my tent, because I dont have room to hold his shit. 10 seconds later shots ring over my head again...I run for cover. Zombies screaming, then silence. I think to myself, these dudes are hopping, check the tent. Sure enough guy is looting tent, hopped in...I shoot him, he buckles, take his crappy AK. Shots ring again over my head, same scenario. Zombies despawn. I look at my tent again a couple of minutes later, there is the 3rd guy looting as fast as he can. Takes a shotgun blast to the face, DC's. With the AK , M4 and my original Fn FAL. No biggie, its chalked up to a loss. Server hopping to avoid death needs to fixed badly, but server hopping to move around for better position, on a 3 v 1 is a classless/skilless move. Shit I would have given you the FN FAL, I only keep the tent there for med supplies.

How long is corpse supposed to remain? I just died, ran for 15 minutes back to where I died and it was gone. Was in the middle of a field next to a haybale...with 2 people on the server. So I know the other guy didnt loot me. I can hear the flies though.

ROFL you WILL be Global Banned for carrying hacked items. How do I know? My friends killed hacker before the mass bans, he picked up M4 Silenced Halo (grenade launcher) and red dot sight. Used it for a week. Global ban hammer hit him. Poof. Do Not Pick it up or use it...

Just go fast in and fast out. That is dont bring up the gear/loot menu unless it is a weapon you want to loot or ammo you need. You have 3 so should be just fine with one guy covering the 2 who loot. The only reason you die in NWA is you take too long to loot, or hopper loads in near you. That why you keep a guy looking around. 4 out of 5 times he will see the hopper loading in.

Or the hackers found a way to get it into the game with picture attached to it. I would have to say it is hacked otherwise there would be a lot more post on this weapon asking if it was hacked or not.

I play on one server only day or night. Just my preference. When night hits, population goes from 50 down to 3 or 4. Then I go into town and loot up. Then spend time when it is daylight looking for the vehicles. I have yet to find one lol, but that gives me something to do.

For what it is worth, I think if server hopping is eliminated or deterred...this mod will be so much better. Out of all the things that are wrong, this is the worse. This just takes so much away from the game. Less realism. Less danger. Less gratification. So many people who get killed are stacked with great gear because it is so easily replaced. If this were a trap tent, I would not put good gear in it. And I would put it in a place where I would have the tactical advantage, not the players trying to loot it. I am not going to sit there all day and guard it. There are large amount of zombies that spawn in the complex. So those who go in deserve what is in it, if they get pass all the zeds (unless they hop). I myself dont go to that tent unless I have 4-5 extra mags of ammo for my side arm. I do not camp my tents or vehicles. If I wanted to kill players I would just grab an assualt rifle and run down the shore and do it. Do not need to bait anyone for that. I honestly do not care if you are a survivor or bandit. I had the decency not to disconnect when I knew I was probably going to die. They didnt. They got to reap the rewards of a simple, not sure if exploit is the right word, feat.

Easiest way to find a day time server, filter the servers for players, generally the servers that are almost full are day time. The ones half full or empty are night. This is almost true everytime.

I have this rig which is actually on sale at Frys for $500. It plays everything with the onboard graphics with ease. BF3, GW2, Diablo 3, Arma 2 (Dayz) with no upgrades. I really cannot believe it is able to play all those games with the onboard graphics, but it does, and it does it with great FPS and performance. But.... My son has this same computer. He put in a vision tek power supply adapter and a Nvidia 560 TI...and he plays EVERY game on ultra with ease. I am going to run the same set up when I get off my ass and go to the store lol. He paid $636 for everything out the door. Normally I build our computers, but if you do not want to wait for the shipping or worry about possilby receiving defective parts this was pretty much cheap route to go with a screaming fast machine. Someone on our server (name Medic or Gold) spawned in attack helicopter and was dumb enough to crash it infront of me (Saw their death spam). I kicked/banned then reset the server. I am not the Global Admin but when he does come online will submit your logs to the Dev Team If you were on the server during the restart, I apologize for the inconvience, but this will not be tolerated. Really not upset about losing anything, or losing kills, just pissed that they are able to relocate right ontop of to where they want to go. Didnt even attempt to outflank me, just wanted to loot my tent and were able to pop right ontop of it at will.

If you clear a place out legitimately, that is pick everything up and drop it elsewhere it ranges from 15-30 minutes. If you server hop into a building, loot despawns, and respawns couple minutes later, unless someone else was there before you, then the loot they left behind is stays. It is safer to pick up everything, drop it elsewhere and wait for it to respawn than server hop. Server hopping is lame anyways. Besides if you clear the trash, you more than likely will get to kill a hopper or two with some nice loot on them.

Hacked weapons, or scripted ones do not have a picture associated with them. IE... when you pick it up, and click on it, if there is no picture in the description it is hacked. There is a thread on this somewhere I will look for it and post it for you.

1. Find an in game map. 2. Open the map. 3. Find where you want to go. 4. Hold down shift...and left click the location. You will mark map with circle with a dot in the middle. 5. Close the map. 6. Now you can see a way point with the distance in meters. 7. Wedge something in your W key and autorun (ROFL) 8. Too easy. Most servers have this feature in game. Not many know about it, unless they have played Arma in the past. This has been a public service announcement. Now be prepared to never get lost.
