Press G to open gear. Right click your hatchet and click remove from toolbelt. Click left mouse button to swing. You can't attack with the knife tho, that is only used for gutting animals.

I spawned in Cherno and 2 of my friends and I were trying to find each other but were clueless to where we were. After trying for 30 minutes I had to get off to do something so I climbed up the ladder of one of the industrial buildings and jumped off the roof.

@smasht_AU Nobody shoots at you though? You don't encounter people on your way there?

Hey I know that people Gear Up in a lot of different ways such as going into fire stations, heading to Stary, etc. I'd like to know what ways you Gear Up. If I have a Cherno spawn I'll get a pistol and try to kill someone with a better gun.

I just join a server and kill a bandit then encounter "The Ghostrider" aka dumb hacker.
