I don't know about Chernaurus but in Lingor after the updates I found an L85 within the first 15mins of playing in a Camo UAZ, an NVG in a flyable heli nearby and a Ghillie 30-45mins after that. Right now I'm sittin pretty with a Coyote BP, NVG, Rangefinders, L85, AS50, within 2 days after the updates, just have to find me a GPS now. The L85/AS50 is my favorite setup, but it doesn't really matter, if you can hit your target pretty much any gun will do, and lets be honest most of the time your shooting someone who isn't moving, taking 3 seconds to scan loot is all it takes. I love killin people, don't matter what or who it is, every once in a while our platoon will get on at once and we'll lock down a major city. Something you should note about those fresh spawns, they might look harmless now, but they won't be harmless 10 minutes from now when they have that freshly looted AK pointed at your back because you let them get past you. Anyone who isn't in our platoon or Skype call is pretty much kill on sight.

The bot remains in game until the combat timer runs out or what the deal? I've been getting some kind of NVIDIA driver error that turns my screen black as well as the odd bluescreen, also if you are booted from game by an admin(I was flying a heli looking for heli crashes when I suddenly received "You have been kicked from game" message, I presume thats an admin doing) and you are in combat I imagine it will do the same thing.

Hmm, I was about to land a heli at San Arulco when the screen goes black(video card fail, or something else) I begin to ascend high as I can then leave the game, log into another server thats empty, and come flying down with a sweet view of where I'll land between my characters legs. This was the end result:

Nerf it like they did in Namalsk? I understand that a casual gamer who wants the weapon hes found in the first 20 minutes of playing to be the king of all guns would want anything that took time to attain and was more effective to be removed, but for those who play for quite some time, who dedicate time to finding end game quality gear, and have attained knowledge to properly find gear and survive(Infected and Bandits/Survivors), weapons such as these act as a reward for their experience, its not like they respawn with this gear when they are killed, if a fresh spawn can get the jump on one of the more experienced players and is able to kill them and take the gear they had, they no doubt have earned it through a differnet means and that reward and power is now in their hands. The best part is, when the L85, AS50, M107, DMR and its variants, the LMG's, NVG, FNFAL's, CZ550, hell anything with a scope is removed due to being "unrealistic" or "overpowered", those players who complained about them will have already quit due to it becoming "boring" or "lacking endgame", even should it be in the stand alone. The more dedicated players should not be robbed of the fruits of their labors, regardless of what those scripting clowns do.

Might be a good idea to drop the GPS as well, shouldn't have any rifles with a zoom function, keep things as close as possible to a FPS shooter with close combat. I like to kill fresh spawns and anyone who gets hungry and comes into the grocery store, sucks when someone can scout you out from a distance, or shoot you through the windows when you camp.

You may still use it, but if you lose it don't expect to find another from a heli crash.

Helis are a good way to get killed man, I refuse to fly in them, something fucked always happens with helis and the damn thing explodes.

Plain and simple, it's fun to kill players, also when you roll with a group, you don't trust outsiders, placing trust in them and allowing them into the group exposes all your teammates to a possible disaster which is why most people not in the Teamspeak, Skype etc group are killed on sight.

Sniping is part of the game, and as far as I'm concerned no different than someone hiding in the corner of a building waiting for players to come through the front door so they can spray them. 3rdperson is a part of the game implemented by the design team, utilize it.

Playing on Lingor now instead of Chernaurus, duping that utilized tents and vehicles has been taken care of, I assumed it would be the same for Chernaurus but I suppose this thread proves otherwise.

Uhhh what? Thats the definition of farming.....and if they don't find anything on the server, what's the point in staying on it, to run around looking for something that they know isn't there? At least if they are farming, they are remaining in the same server, putting what they have on the line when other folk come their way.

Just left a Lingor server on the main hive where 1 or more hackers were teleporting around killing players, they got called out a few times in side chat but were playing the "oh it wasn't me" bit, also a couple people were banned when this was going on, but I'm pretty sure the teleport hacker didn't get banned because players were still steadily dieing and complaining. I've read that they cannot see players if they are inside a vehicle, so for the majority of the tele hack killings I was inside a SUV watching this shit go down in side chat.

I'm not sure whats going on but it seems like there is an issue with the Lingor hive? I noticed today in DayZ Commander there are few players playing on the main hives servers, and I get stuck at the loading the screen(after yellow loading bar) on most of them when I was able just yesterday to get into any of them with ease. No updates or anything came out, wondering if anyone else is having trouble, also is there a main Lingor site?(dayzlingor.tk does not exist) I pressume this is the right place for it otherwise.

^lol ad-bots Actually I don't mind the text in side chat but I was in a server where Voice chat was allowed and it became pretty annoying pretty fast lol.

Yeah, I'm curious to know what happened there as I've been playing Lingor instead of Chernaurus for about a week now.

Found a radio on a dead player as well, I'm keepin it, fills that empty slot i the tool belt.

Spawned in Cherno in US1992 and a few seconds later I hear a heli I look south towards the ocean and see a heli, with the ural, a bike, and bicycle(with somneone on it) attached to it by some invisible force coming towards me, it lowers its altitude a bit and cricles me then takes off north, wish I had taken a screenshot or video the guy in the Ural was honking the horn lol.

TWS? As in the AS50 TWS? That isn't meant to be in the game anyway. Just play the game and use what the game provides to your advantage, want a different experience than what the main hive is providing then join a private hive. Also to put things into perspective the population of the forum is a fraction of the playerbase, unless everyone on the forum complains in unison I doubt anything will come of this unless Rocket had planned it initially. You won't see these things gone or changed until the standalone game, I doubt the duping which is much much further up on the priority list than altering game content like equipment be looked after either.

You are lucky NOT to find a Bizon or FN FAL at a heli crash lol, mind you I found 3 AS50's and a M107 in the last 2 heli crashes I found, drop rate of those bad boys should be considered after duping is removed.

I usually keep my distance from other Ghillie suit players, same with Camo gear wearing players, the thought of getting killed and spawning with the bandit skin bothers me, I don't like it so unless I know what I'm looking at is a bandit I do not get involved with them. Funny story about the Hero skin though, I was driving a dirtbike towards Elektro when all of a sudden I see just to the right of the road a player, he starts unloading on me as I pass but only manages to take out the rear tire of the bike. I pull it around a bush and get out, I return fire and kill the player. When I get to them I see they are a Hero, so I change the UI so I can see my humanity and I see that Murder: 0 Bandit: 1, with no change to my humanity. :)

Everyone has varying opinions on the AS50 TWS, I had one for quite some time but never used it for anything other than surveilance, have a regular AS50 in my backpack right now, haven't even pulled it out.

Haven't had anything fun or interesting happen to me, just been lucky enough to dodge the teleport scripters just as they appear behind/around you, no close calls either.
