There are many classes of zombies in DayZ, you know them all by skins. There are military, civilians ( like doctors, village dudes, guys in suits), etc. Hunters are those guys in black jackets and 'russian' bear hats. About hotfix : - Debug UI option is bugged, it applies a new inlay on icons and doesn't update them when needed. So you might start bleeding -from starvation and wont notice because the icons are still green. - For some odd reason vehicles after server restart spawn without fuel ( confirmed on 3 different vehicles ... atleast they didnt vanish :P) - I don't know if its happening on other servers but on my regular (US 571) all the boats, and about 5/6 bicycles were moved ( just after server restart - Iam sure it wasnt cheaters doing ) to one inland spot near Chernogorsk.

I have some odd issues with dayz servers. It was all fine till couple days ago. From that time I cant join 40% of servers ( connecting failed message ) plus another 20% of forever stuck at loading screen ( I get pass lobby,waiting for host,character to create... tried waiting for 30 mins on loading but it doesnt help). I can play on the rest of servers no problem at all, running smooth and fast like speedy gonzales. What I tried to do in order to fix it : - Reinstalling Arma2,Arma OA etc. - Reinstalling Beta patches - Reinstalling newest Battleye - Reinstalling DayZ - Checked my router settings, downloaded newest firmware - Used different methods to launch game ( sixlauncher,dayzcommander,arma2 launcher,via steam) I tried those steps in different configurations but with the same result all the time :/ Btw. I found a strange thing playing the other day, I was playing on US 571 when for random reason I got loosing connection message ( only for me though, my friends could play normally so it wasnt a server crash). After that , when i disconnected and tried to connect again I started to receive forever stuck at loading screen. This is a big issue for me and my friends, becouse of this we had to move camps 2 times to play together :/ Can anyone help ? You can find people reporting same issue with ghillie skin on. Ox3y I invite you to check out WEG community forum ( link in signature), we dont have to be friends,neutral if you dont want to. About strange events, can you describe them and timeline ( either here or WEG forum so Admin-Master Brain can check the logs for suspicious stuff). I highly encourage anyone to try out dayz experience when playing with WEG members. You can find peaceful 'hippy' survivors ,bloodthirsty bandits and teamplayers working towards higher,long term goal. I downgraded to 95389 beta and downloaded the new weapons file( brought by Vipeax). Well, from situation I couldnt play on almost any server it turned quite well ( for now at least). I tried ( I picked servers from different providers in case that could help): DE 747 -> Yuppiee! PL 2 -> Yuppiee! DE 272 -> Yuppiee! NL 38 -> Yuppiee! Atlanta 23 -> Yuppiee! DE 571 -> Yuppiee! US 526 -> Yuppiee! US 571 -> Yuppiee! But there was one server that welcomed me with "forever stuck at loading screen", cant remember name :/ EDIT : IT F***** WORKS ! :D

Well, newest update (1.7.2.4) broke everything for me. I could play on like 20% of servers but now I can't join any of them :/ The darkness of forever stuck at loading screen is terrifying.

Well, till the update I could play on 20% of servers without getting one of these : - Connection failed - Forever stuck at loading screen Now I'am unable to join any server, no matter what beta server/client is running.

1. Im having issues for week, trying to get in a servers atleast ~12 times per day no succes 2. Server im trying to get in ( my friends can play but I cant - US 571) is running BE 3. Admin assured me that server is running all required files 4. Admin assured me that server has 1.62 and beta Stil Iam unable to play on majority of servers, and the one I used to play just fine before.

K, I give up. Sending a ticket, maybe Devs will be able to help me out.

First of all: stop crying, spamming "bad" words and bumping every 10mins. You didn't pay for DayZ but for Arma , thats totally different and you shouldnt expect much of support from devs/dayz staff, almost all of them are doing their job for free. So... lets talk about your issue now Forget about Sixlauncher its a crappy software. Try using a manual method, Its described in one of the pinned threads in new players section. Follow the guidelines how to manualy install everything(Dayz,Beta). If even after that you cant pass loading screen on any server then youre out of luck like me. ( my thread)

Obviously you have wrong dayz files. 1. Go to Arma 2 AO folder, delete entire @Dayz folder. 2. Create a new @DayZ folder, and Addons folder inside it. 3. Download 1.7.2.3 dayz ( best bet is to use torrent, sometimes ftp servers have old versions still ( you can see it in files though) ) 4. Copy the content from torrent to Addons folder 5. ???? 6. PROFIT

Best answer is the lack of Beta. Did you download specified Beta from (http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php) ? Pick the one that is used on the server ( In the name of it you should see numbers like for instance : 92548). Download Beta, run it. Go to game, check if in the lower right corner you can see sth like 1.62.xxxxx - wheres xxxx is the beta number. After that you should be able to play on that beta (and lower) type servers.

After searching around I think the problem is not hardware related. The problem lies in character save data or the fact that I'm wearing ghillie or there are some issues with not updated servers. Character save data is the least suspected thing becouse of the fact I can play on other servers just fine. But on this stage of mod + so many ways to fuck up settings both in client and server everything is equally possible :P

Did you have a ghillie on your character on your last logout ? Check can you play on nonofficial hive servers ( like eu nohop). Check different servers ( at least 4/5) to see if the issue occurs on every server. I have the same issue. (My thread)

I have the same issue. My thread EDIT: From what Ive heard from user deathnz1 buying another cdkey will work. Propably the issue is within hive system, no hardware/software-client side tweaking will help.
