I have kasperskys IS 2012, but the issues occur no matter what ( antivirus software and firewall disabled or enabled)

Reinstalling what ? Check the post again,I reinstalled everything that is related to Arma and DayZ

Got the same issue, it just started few days ago ( my thread). Still trying to figure out a fix, but no success so far :/

It seems there is a new wave of connection issues. Try different servers, are there such you can join and play ? I sometimes get the connection lost / stuck at loading screen and for example I cant play on US 571, but its ok on EUNOHOP or any UK server.

@Aftershok , thx I tried your suggestions but it didnt help :/ No the loosing conneciton on 571 was totaly random, happened after 1 hour of gameplay on that server and wasnt followed by change of beta or anything on my side.

Try different servers. I have same issues but it seems to affect only 40% of them. Reinstalling arma, beta patches, checking BE and other stuff doesnt work so dont bother.

Yep, I got same situation twice already. Unfortunately only once I found loot there, second time helis were looted already :/ Edit : There are only 3 (thats for sure, could be 4 but I've never heard of that) heli spawns per server at a time.

Skins are back, but for my atleast ( 1.7.2.3 , new Beta and playing on newly updated server) they dont work. You can put them on without danger of losing items, run around etc. But while you have it on, your progress is not saved.After each login attempt you will be rolled back to a moment you put your skin on.

Weapons (but not ammo) spawning mechanics are generally ok, but duping exploits mess things up. The only thing that needs fixing are the deer stands , its just crazy what can you find there and in what amounts. I hope it will be changed in more ballancing Beta part where more civil guns will be introduced. BIG ammo scarcity for high/medium tier guns is needed to balance the game a bit. I have seen people running around with dozens of mags, not to mention amount of ammo in tents/cars - thats just ridiculous. The death mechanics ? I would love to see a combination of following things : - for example 30 min cool down after death preventing from respawning all over again - for example limit of 10 lifes per month, you can die 10 times till ... lets say fifth day of month when your life stat replenish to 10 again. You're out of lifes ? Bad luck, wait till 5 just like for your payroll :P - servers with entrance limit of days your character lived

Skins are not working 1.7.2.3, putting them on lets you run around etc. but after DC and login back you will be put back to moment you put on the skin. So no progress saves. There are just shitloads of people who run around with wrong version or sth so each time they die their bodies disappears and you receive no murder. Plus new ways to dupe items ( already mention before). Probably its not a good place to ask for it but staff please do sth about people DC all the time .

Military skin is in the game, I found such in Berezino market in 1.7.1 last time :/

I don't know if its supposed to be like it, but bear traps seem only to break legs with no bleeding and no damage. Plus the detection is a bit off, you need actually to lay down with a belly on center of trap to activate it, running doesnt affect the trap, crouch is ok. Other things ? Great lag,fps reduction and much faster connections to server. And yeah, dead body disapearing after player disconnects :/

Bodies are still disappearing after 5s ( if person who got killed disconnected). Thats ultra lame, I was ambushed by a guy , he failed miserably at it...after dying he just disconnected - no reward for me :/

The best spot is roof of the hotel, but you need a buddy to give you a lift with a heli to get there. Over there, you can be sniped only from one spot when prone ( top of factory) - but still its ultra hard, and guys on the top are an easy target for you. You have a clear view of East, and West part of City, docks,main road, fire station, back door of market... and so on... Its almost impossible to get killed from the ground level, or any other place except : factory, woods in the east, radio tower to the north ( last both requires a sniper with skills to hit you from ~700m plus, and you have a cover of a small steel fence that is impenetrable even by .50 cal).

Since my home server with all camps and vehicles got raped by a cheater I turned to a bloody bandit. Scored 65 murders in this life ( and going up each day :) ), but an avarage is ~20 per life.

Yay, I hope zombie vision/hearing will be balanced well. Being spotted by zed in pitch black night (even though I had hard time seeing him with my NV) from literally 80m away - just because I crouched walked on asphalt road is just silly. Keep up the good work rocket

I owned couple of vehicles, and I know that there were more of them. Just keep looking, maybe you will spot the vehicle stash my group left :P

This is great place to start your dayz adventure, I really recommend it
