For anyone still having this issue: I bought this game off steam, so i deleted the game local data (Both the game and the expansion). After that i re-downloaded and installed the game and installed DayZ 1.7.2.5 and the beta patch 96061/63. This fixed my issue and it now works perfectly. Let me know if this helps anyone?

I just tried running DayZ from my brothers computer. Worked like a charm. So i'm uninstalling the game completely and see if that works. I'll post here the results.

Yeah i'm having the saame problem here. I was playing perfectly fine last night. I come on today and every single server i try and join gets stuck on "Wait for host". This is when i join through DayZ commander or Play with six or the six launcher etc. I tried joining through the game itself, through steam, but that just gives me a "Connecting failed" error.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if it's just a glitch: I had about 6 mags of the 30rnd Stanag stuff in my main inventory. I had some cooked meat and a grenade. I also had bandages and mags for my M9. It was all good and i had to leave the house for a bit and when i came home and logged into the game, everything was gone from my main inventory. All my tools were still there and all my items in my backpack were still there, but all my ammo and food just disappeared. Is there a specific thing you do that causes this to happen? Or am i just unlucky.

Wow. Perfect timing. I was just about to make a thread about this too! I was happily playing, i finally found an ATV, i got off to get some fuel then all of a sudden im kicked. I restarted the game and tried different servers, now im getting the error before i get into any game. Any help would be much appreciated.

So there's the new version of DayZ (1.7.2.5). It said it updated and i even tried manually downloading the stuff and adding them into the folders, but i'm not sure if i put it in the right folders. Also, is there a way to get it to update? There's a server i go on a lot and it's not on 1.7.2.5 and i can't join.
