You could probably crawl to the nearest zombie ... I always could ... although watching it in 3rd person I was always scooting on my ass. LOL

Isn't a new glitch. I experience it from time to time (since v1.7.2.4. was started) Fortunately zombies, or someone else, found me and killed me fairly quickly and I respawned normally ... otherwise I guess I'd still be sitting there.

HACKER NAME LIST. HACKERS HACKING US 2309
DrainBamaged replied to [email protected]'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Definitely the same SeaBiscuit that I banned for spawning Satchel Charges (pipe bombs in the logs) as well as other stuff. The other GUIDs do not appear in my ban list. -

Depending on the GUIDs, of course, this sounds like the same SeaBiscuit and Ryan that I banned from US 1550 and US 2522 for scripting/hacking. ~DB aka Gravel -

Is this possibel a Hacked event? Air destruction
DrainBamaged replied to Paddy0610's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
While the multiple GUID/single IP can be indicator, please remember that some of us legit players have multiple GUIDs, ... like me (and the rest of my admins for US 1550 and US 2522) for instance. That should only be used as circumstantial, or secondary evidence. With that said, Graz puts out some good response and deserves your beans for it. ~DB (P.S. I know this is going to quad post. Sorry. If I try to fix it, it will just spam added quad-replies.) -

HFBServers Control Panel Transfer Complete
DrainBamaged replied to [email protected]'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
I will say, for the record, that the guys at HFB have put up with my endless crap (as a brand new admin that doesn't know jack about computers,) questions, appeals for help, and frequent visits to their TeamSpeak. They have literally, patiently, walked me through the entire setup process for US 1550 and US 2522, as well as my private hives. At one point or another they've all taken the time out of their busy schedules to answer questions, give guidance, and even view my computer remotely to unfuck things I've fucked up. As long as I host servers, and as long as HFB will let me be a client, I will use their services. ~DrainBamaged aka: Gravel -
Sooooo I'm looking back here. In the title of your post you wrote, "US 2522," which I own. Then in the body of your post you wrote, "US 2253." Which would it actually be? I mean I've gone through my stuff and banned all the script-kiddies from overnight, but you might want to clarify just in case I'm not the owner of the server you were playing on.

And sorry for the multi-posts ... everytime I click "post" it gives me 2, 3, or 4 ghosts. When I try to edit them out it re-ghosts those, so I just quit trying.

Thanks for reporting, and the current crop of hackers were banned. FYI: As I don't read the forums here very much it'd be faster if you were to check TeamSpeak (208.115.125.26 -- no port/no password) and look for one of these names: Gravel, Jasper, ClaireXXX, Caius, Corey, or LeatherGoldfish. Alternatively, email me at [email protected] The email account will send me a notification via cell-phone. Thanks, DraimBamaged aka Gravel

Brettuk, I know how you feel. The first time I played at night I was like OMGWTFGTFO. Now it's no big deal ... you do get used to it, and night vision goggles help. I admin US 1550 and US 2522. I have regular Aussies on my servers, so the ping should be set plenty high for you. The two servers are set aproximately 10 hours time zone apart from each other. When it's night on one it's day on the other. This gives my players a choice as to which enviroment they want to play at any given moment. I'd be very happy to see you jump in and give them a try. ~DrainBamaged (aka Gravel, in game)

Changing in game server time? Is it possible? Server host says no...
DrainBamaged replied to U.G.N - Jedi Panda's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Sgt. Leon, Is this just a standard slot server? Or a high bandwidth server? I run my server (via Remote Desktop) from a high bandwidth server. I can log in and switch my time of day using the tzutil function. There's a specific list of them just for doing this. For instance, I run 1550 on "Eastern Standard Time" and 2522 on "Central Asia Standard Time" so that my players always have a choice of night or day. I don't know if the standard slot servers have a configuration for changing the time of day or not. Hope this helps. ~DrainBamaged aka Gravel ... admin of US 1550 and US 2522 -

Battleye Server: scripts.txt Message After Restart?
DrainBamaged posted a topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Received the following message when I restarted today. "Battleye Server: DayZ server admins need to update to the latest official scripts.txt file provided by the DayZ team to fix script restriction kicks." I odn't have a problem doing this, but I can't seem to find where anyone has the files so that I can update them. I've been all over the place looking. A little help please. -

1.7.2.5 Tents and Vehicle Inventories not saving.
DrainBamaged replied to NocturnalS1n's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
I don't know about vehicles, but tents on the new patch are saving items just fine. I just tested it with a brand new tent. 1. Pitch tent. 2. Place item(s) in tent. 3. Save tent one time. 4. Don't take or add item(s) until after server reboot. (In fact leave the tent alone until after step 5.) 5. Scheduled server reboot. 6. Check tent ... voila, items saved. And remember, tents are not only tied to the main hive and the server they're pitched on, but to the particular body that set up the tent. Only that person can save and/or remove the tent. Once that body dies and you've respawned you've lost all control over that tent. The tent (and all gear inside) continually respawn after every reboot. The only way for a tent to disappear is if no one adds or removes an item for a full week. I'm running the most updated versions, both server and client, with zero tent saving issues. I'll try it on vehicles tonight and see what happens, but after everything I've read about vehicle glitches I don't have a clue how that will work out. -
