Could be that he knows about the special place in hell for combat loggers and zombie trains are always fun. Nothing I enjoy more than getting my akm, going to the flats in elektro and killing 30 or 40 zeds. -

Ok. For the record. It would appear that when you create a new profile then the new name is what is used but with your current character. All gear remains the same and you will spawn where you logged out. -

I find that walking backwards in dark buildings whilst being chased by a horde seems to lose aggro. You travel just as fast as crouch walk but with NO sound. No matter the surface. Oh, I'm talking about the hangars. Cos the zeds do not slow down in them and running into the containers doesn't always work. -

As soon as your hearing non zed footsteps. If you want to announce yourself. Get typing. Better still. Get a mic and double tap CAPS LOCK. Remember though. NEVER give away your position unless you trust the other person with your gear. -

Hilarious. I would give you some beans, but it is disabled in the phone version of the forum. Although there was this one time on a private server where I was maybe just a little too complacent with road flares and got pwnd. Lesson learned. -

Good advice. Trust no-one you aren't in ts, Skype or vent with. And even then be wary. I've had a couple shots to the back of the head from the, 'oops, my finger slipped brigade' -
And I won't mention how to empty them permanently, when you find them.

I always respawn on a low population night time server after death. Less chance of aggroing zeds and virtually no chance of griefers, cos mommy sent them to bed, ;) Nah only joking. Virtually no chance of snipers cos there is only one thermal optic weapon and even the dupers don't waste the space - unless they are protecting a camp. -
If I leave one server and join another, will I keep my weapons?

Well this explains the drop in banditry. All of a sudden with no more ammo refills after logs the snipers are running dry. Shame that. You'll have to get down into the mix with the rest of us now. ;)

Hmm, slightly off of OP topic. How can you be new to the game and have all this primo gear? I really am playing this wrong. -
Killing unarmed survivors is a bit like clubbing seals. In real life these are the people most likely to climb into a bell tower because they don't like Mondays.

Is there any way that I can get my civilian clothing back? It shouldn't involve meeting a stranger in a darkened forest and stripping to my undies at gunpoint. I may even let you keep the damn ghillie I'm wearing.

No bandit towel for me. I am one of those guys that is trying to return some humanity to the game with random acts of kindness. Providing healing, meat, obvious tents filled with useful items. But since I donned the ghillie suit it is proving somewhat precarious.
