If item transfers aren't logged anywhere, I have no other evidence of the Laser Marker as I hid the body holding it in order to destroy it before thinking to take screenshots, and this report can probably be ignored unless the other suspicious activity warrants investigation. Server: us 1687 ... hosted by pogo Time: Approx 2:30 AM PST What happened: Low pop server at night, heard sniper fire while approaching NWAF, investigated and killed player "andre". Shortly after the message "Player andre is losing connection" appeared followed by "andre was kicked by BattlEye (client not responding)", and andre was no longer listed in the player list for the rest of my session. A couple minutes later after scouting the area (L85 thermal so I could confirm it was COMPLETELY clear) I headed in to loot the body, and while running behind a hangar south of the fire station I was instantly killed from 12000 blood with no indication of what killed me; no sound of gunfire, no pain status, bleeding, broken bones, etc. Just fell over dead. Assuming it was a bug, I headed back to recover my gear before disconnecting to find my rangefinder and coyote backpack (containing an as50 and mags) had been looted. Though I realize anyone could have taken it during the trip up there, and a hacker should have no use for looting players, the low player count (~7 during this incident) and the fact that most of them were killed shortly before or during my trip north at night is suspicious to me. What proved it however was that when I finished the job of looting andre's body, he had a Laser Marker. Not initially knowing this was not a legitimate item I took it, checked the wiki to figure out how to use it and then placed it back on his body when searching for "laser marker" yielded no results and I realized it's not obtainable normally. Unfortunately I hid the body to destroy the hacked item before thinking to take screenshots for evidence, so hopefully item transfers are logged somewhere and the brief time I spent holding the laser marker (my name is "dosei" ingame as well) is enough to trace its origin (if andre isn't responsible for it himself).
