  1. I had to laugh at Mister Integrity in the first page. Keep up the good work Good Guy Greg
  2. No, no dancing. This is not a fairy dungeons and dragons game. Go play WoW if you want to dance.
  3. perkins704051@gmail.com

    Trades!

    Any M4A1 Ammo, NVG?
  4. Snipers should stay they same because essentially they are the "one hit kill" weapon. I do however believe there should be variable with the sniper. Wind, movement delay, more time to line up the shot etc.
  5. In-game Name: Demitri Steam name: Moondoggie Age: 19 The current time zone you're residing in: PST +8:00 Mic: Yes, the quality can vary depending on what is on in my room, a bit sensitive,. How long you've been playing: 2 days. Your preferred role and/or weapon: So far I like staying on guard/raiding with my trusty M4A1 and M1911 Humanity(bandit/survivor/hero): Survivor. I will kill any who stand to threaten myself or my allies I know my game age is young, but I know my way around the coastal line and starting to make my way more inland. I have a rough understanding what loot will be where and what to use and not to use as far as killing what goes.
  6. You guys seem to have a stable and fun environment, definitely something i'd like to get in om.
  7. - Game purchase. I'd happily pay 40-50 bucks for a game like this. Spent 30 already only for this game. -If it were pay to play at the most i'd pay 30-40 dollars per year -Cash shop. Please and thank you. Cosmetics, gun skins, maybe even a death carry over capsule or something? ;D -Studio developed definitely, Goes without saying to not turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to the community, they are the ones playing and the reason they keep coming back, -Both Community and Studio Servers. Make some "Official Dedicated" Studio servers with the option to own/admin our own servers for a bi-monthly fee of course. - Kickstarter? or not?
  8. Browsing through the forums a particular clan name pops up. V.O.I.D. For those of you who do not know what V.O.I.D. is they are an Elite Clan from another Zombie online game called "Dead Frontier". I don't say the term "elite" loosely, because literally they were. They never recruited anyone under level 100, never anyone with a small numbered forum post; they had top of the line equipment for every member, some you couldn't get in game of buy from the credit shop, never anyone I knew who didn't play under three years and they donated a lot of money to the game, I can almost say they alone are what held the game up for so long and Hell probably still are. I don't know why the name surprised me so much, I mean this is a zombie shooter. So this is what I want to know from the DayZ community. Have you played Dead Frontier? How long have you played Dead Frontier? How long have you played DayZ? Anything from Dead Frontier you'd like to see in DayZ? Example. Name: Desmond Tiny Length i've played Dead Frontier: Four years, five this December Length i've played on DayZ: Day 1 lol Anything i'd like to see in DayZ: The most appealing thing to me would be a isolated area where you could trade, sit and communicate or go afk freely without the chance or worry of getting killed by zombies or other players. You'd automatically have your gun on your back/holstered and couldn't take it out till you left the area. Course this is still in Alpha, probably something we wont see till later in the Stand Alone lol. Can't wait to hear from my fellow Fairview survivors.
  9. lol Yeah, there is a little too much countryside in Chern.
  10. My First Day Playing DayZ So after about an hour familiarizing myself with the controls, and another two hours familiarizing myself with the map (coastal) I finally start to play. "Starting" off in Kamenka I find a dead body on the outskirts my lucky day, my first gun, a Makarov PM. Feeling like the total badass I like to think I am I shoot a couple of zombies, outside. Which the whole town of zombies feels like celebrating by coming to hug me. So after correcting myself and venturing out again I spawn in Balota and stop by the airfield and guess what I find, AK47!!! :D. Again feeling like the badass I run around killing zombies left and right. I see a person running up to me, I've watched DayZ videos and get the gist of how things work, I type out friendly, gun raised at they're head till I get the "friendly" notification. Gun lowered I turn around to scavenge some more, to my dismay my company turned they're gun to me, another AK and i'm dead again. I spawn in Balota again and try some of the factories by the docks. This player "Adde" shoots me, drags me farther into the warehouse, closes the doors and proclaims i'm his new "pet". So I, not so politely, tell him no and get shot as I drag my body to the doors till he kills me. If you haven't got it yet don't trust the guy "Adde", unless you're into the slave/pet thing. Finally I spawn into Cherno and run to the supermarket to find a Czech Backpack and a Winchester Rifle. Trying my luck I run to the industrial area I try a building, at the tippy freaking top guess what I find, M4A1!! Taking one last trip around Cherno I look for the hospital, on my way I find two guys in the Church who try shooting me as I run by. At this point i'm playing it smart, well not really, and killed them. One had a Makarov, the other Winchester. Holding up in a one-way-in-one-way-out building and shooting on sight. What I have on me: M4A1 - 4 clips Markov PM - 7 clips Czech Backpack Random items. Total time played - 5 hours Thanks for stopping by :D
  11. It's the name of the game, kill or be killed. lol Yeah, having something automatic has a nice little touch but looking for it was a whole lot more exciting. I get where you're coming from soloing, but hearing a team in chat talking about fixing up a helicopter and some buses and totally wanted to get on that. Never been one for bitching. Adapt or die.
