again: you have to repair the last windshield glass twice for the helo to stop leaking (totalling 9 glasses)

the fuel bug was introduced with 1.7.2.6, for now we'll have to bear with it i guess (still better than no saving whatsoever) a hacker disconnected me from the game once while flying the helo.. and yeah, upon reconnecting i was standing on the ground close to the position where i was originally flying. Chopper was gone however (no crash, no respawn)

you might be lucky.. sometimes they do save but only the first time they're saved and only if the person who pitched the tent does it (urbandict. just told me that pitching a tent also means striking a boner... silly english you :D)

didn't mean to be a smartass.. it's just that w/o steam you can just change the cdkey that arma stores in the registry and switch from one account to the other with ease. But i'm sure there is a way to do this w the steam version as well. well that's the problem... as of 1.7.2.5 tents do not work as intended. Meaning after a server restart everything stored within the tent will be gone (saved or not) this is pretty much the only reason we bought a second acc. so we'd have a safe storage until this goddamned bug is fixed.

huh? how are you gonna access your second account if not by changing the cdkey?^^ and w/o tents how else are you gonna store items?

nowadays it's pretty much the only option to safe some gear.. works like a charm too (google Arma OA cdkeychanger)

well he said he'd release it when it's ready, and that it is just not ready yet.. to me that sounds like waiting another month not a week.... but who knows :)

then you're lucky.. i mean i know sth. like a fix for the problem exists (there's some dev-heaven link floating around) but our provider (gamed!.de) sticks to the policy that they won't edit any server files nor apply any fixes that aren't official :/

if there was just a tiny little hotfix to fix tents and vehicles... i guess there would be a lot less anger on these forums. fuck the gfx glitches, ppl have learnt to deal with those (restart, various other 'fixes', or simply avoid those areas) however w/o tents and vehicles there really isn't much to do but rage on the forums :) i say release a hotfix and take as long as you need for 1.7.3 :edit oor roll back six updater to 1.7.2.4

protip: if you're here for DayZ and DayZ only, then don't buy the overpriced bundle crap on steam instead get OA key for ~$10 from "somewhere else" this way you don't have to get all worked up over rocket "selling out" :)

ok update-time: it seems to be okay now (no more leaking). what i did: 1 repair chopper completely (started w scrap metal, engine, rotor, glass) 2 repair the last windshield glass again (scroll to the bottom of the list of repairable glasses and repair the last one again -totalling 9 windshield glasses) i put two cans in the chopper.. it's been sitting there for roughly half an hour now... and no leaking so far (should've been empty by now if it was in fact leaking) thanks to "unknownbastard" for his thread (http://dayzmod.com/f...l-from-leaking/)
