Me and a buddy were driving a UAV around with gear in. Server isn't a hugely popular one, but on returning it was gone. I was assuming it had been stolen, but are you saying it probably reset on a server reset or has gone back to where it originally spawned? I've no clue how to even build one from scratch (I did read the FAQ).

I moved over to DayZ Commander this week after having a problem with the SixLauncher. It was sticking on the 1.7.4 update and I couldn't get on any of the servers. Booted up DYC, had no problems updating and getting online. I love the favourite server feature and the fact I can find a regular server easily (can you even filter these SixLauncher?), and it seems much more stable. A+.

I've been playing for a couple of months now and always stayed near the coast, looting in Elektro and Cherno. Now, I'm going up north, and things are much more interesting. Get away from the other players and do some exploring. Far less stressful!

^^ wish there were more like you out there, dude. i've been playing for a couple of months now and have been getting shot to pieces by anyone and everyone. though last night me and a buddy did help out a scared friendly who was being griefed by a lot of z's. he ran away after that.

Similar thing happened to me. Also, classic one yesterday. Ran all the way up north, which took about an hour. Found a bus (probably hacked). Drove it around. Got kicked because of ping. Came back and was killed by said bus because of poo poo clipping. Lost all my stuff. Later on a buddy found my body still under the bus and looted my corpse :) *sadface*

Nice vid. I visited there last night for the first time and did some looting. Didn't find very much, but had great fun exploring the apartments.

Hi there. I've been lurking on the forum for months, and playing the mod for about 3 months solo. Because of that, I've not explored the farther reaches of the map, nor had particularly good experiences with other players. So, I'm now looking for casual players to join up with to play Fri-Sun when I'm around. Have lots of experience with online shooters (L4D, CS, etc) but DayZ has proved really challenging as a solo player. I have Steam, but I'm running the beta through DayZCommander. I can do voicechat on skype. PM or reply if interested.

Same thing happened to me last spawn. I'd been alive for 2 days, found some nice stuff. I could hear lots of shots in Cherno, so hid on the hospital roof. Lots of bodies everywhere, including bandits. Decide to do a runner and then the douche crept up behind me as I'm hiding behind a building and he shottied me. Pissed :)
