  1. Whatever happened to this neat updater I used so far (not for long as well) went completely over my head. At first it was fine. I told it to update, selected a server and then connected... but since the recent autoupdate it exploded with confusing and wild options and menus that I just cannot wrap my head around. Additionally, since the last time I played finding servers to play on has become much more difficult. What is Lingor Island and all these non-dayz missions and why are they cluttering up my ingame server browser? Why do I only find a handful of the ginormous list of servers in the updater in the ingame browser?

Completely overwhelmed by sudden SixUpdater Changes

Actually, I just tried the new version of the Sixer and it seemed to work much better... In fact, even my previous post's problem about being left alone with a broken bone has been solved... actually I had my first self-gathered loot, my first dip into cherno, found lots of supplies, a primary, a sidearm AND a BFG (with no ammo) in another town. I daresay this evening turned for the better! Though, i'll have a look at the commander should there be problems again. So, thanks all :3
  3. Hey there, I kinda find myself in a bad situation and was wondering if I could score a few pieces of advice. The situation is as follows... The last time I played I was accompanied by a friend and a friend of his who wanted to introduce me to this awesome new game they've been playing for a while. At first we've been trying to find each other on the map and after setting a meeting point (and me miraculously surviving the longest part on the way) a hacker teleported us and all players onto the same spot. I, as well as the other two, instantly disconnected. I didn't even know that this was a common reaction, I was just told that hackers are afoot and thought on the brink of the moment that this might be the only way out. So, after that we've been together. (Thanks, by the way~). So, we've been stalking around for a bit trying to gather equipment when we came across some obviously hacked equipment (A crate with EVERYTHING in it in abundance? seems legit) But of course, that was a trap as well. All in all we left the game alive. Before everyone ultimately disconnected for the night my bleeding was bandaged and we planned on trying to find medication for my fracture.... BUT for some reason (I blame a mix of greed and the obvious trap hack crate) my buddy's game won't start. He didn't go into details but in the end it means that he stopped playing for a while. He said something shredded his entire game. Now I am alone. Somewhere, I wouldn't pinpoint it even if I knew. I still have a broken bone, an empty remington, a hatchet, some medical supplies (no morphine naturally) and quite a bit of meat, but no matches. I know of a handful of buildings and a village close by. I even think there was a deer stand in the area, but I am not sure... espectially not sure if I can even climb it with a broken bone. I trust nobody by default and would prefer to salvage this by myself. The last time I logged in I was not teleported to the coast as many people seem to have experienced. (I didn't stay long though, because I have a visitor for a few days and was just checking) Sooo, here's the cheese. Any advice on how to salvage this? I really don't want to just crawl into zombies and start anew... that'd be kinda boring. As it stands the best solution probably would be dragging my carcass to some buildings in the area and look for a morphine injector. I read that these can (applying the approximate probability of spawning) be found anywhere but on farms...

To all the scum at elektro hill

Well, on the other hand, doesn't it also give people a good example of what they're against? After all you cannot trust anyone by default, you have to expect danger lurking at any place and to come up with other strategies and takes to any given situations, be them as cruel as they can be. I for one find that quite invigorating.
