Well, Guba has received a city, albeit still looking rather stamped. There is an extensive road network for a city over gvozdno... I reckon it'll receive some updates in the future.

I guess I should just forego gathering and storing working material and start doing the doctoring from the get-go. I reckon people are more willing to talk to people that only wear casual clothing, small backpacks and a pistol plus bandolier at best... Now I just gotta figure out how to do this best... I just got wounded there, hid behind a building, desynched and was suddenly unconscious. ....This happens to me all the time. I guess fighting is just a bad idea in general. No point in fighting if I can't fight back.

Did characters seriously just wipe?

Oooh, nice. Now I get something to do! Time to gear up and go home again! edit: Aw bummer. Still got all my stuff. -
So how do the batteries taste ?
Darrus Dreadtiger replied to gho5tl3git@gmail.com's topic in General Discussion
Charged batteries taste like profiteroles. Empty batteries taste like celery. -
I wouldn't call it that easy of a fix. The elongated pull tab can that should contain the sardines actually contains tuna when opened. Same with the round can that should contain the tuna. That would need some retexturing at least.

Sniper Scope Used As A Monocular

I quite like the idea! -
The Walking Dead taught me that the humans can be just as dangerous as zombies. Homo homini lupus in full effect!

I'm sure it'll be much safer once the game enters beta. -
I'm getting warm and fuzzy "Soldier: Secret Wars" flashbacks just now~

What do you think about adding this item?
Darrus Dreadtiger replied to knawx's topic in General Discussion
The idea is quite nice and would sit well along with custom writable notes. But I can imagine, that the multitude of pictures to be saved would put a massive load on the hive server... -
>Suggestion< Large city Inland

I've been on the north road just a while ago. There seems to be a big city in the making and I'm way curious to see how it'll turn out once it's done! -
I stuffed my face and drank myself full to the brim on a hand crank well. Then I embarked on a TWO HOUR jogging trip from Lopatino to Gusa. These bars only appear when you're really, really hungry or thirsty. You can eat and drink WELL beyond those indicators.

The Lopatino-Gusa Wanderpath. Waste time, heal up, enjoy the scenery!
Darrus Dreadtiger posted a topic in General Discussion
It was about two hours ago when I sat in my dedicated home building in Lopatino, looking out the window at the grayish trees and fields, wondering what I should do with the evening. When I checked the map from the wiki though I had the greatest idea. I needed to waste some time to heal up, want to see something new and preferably not die... and then I noticed that brand new road in the north. A road connecting Lopatino over a north main road with Gusa, north of Berezino... I thought to myself: "I'm gonna run that damn thing. I wanna see what there is to see". Before going I are up almost all of my foodstuffs and then set off to the north to explore this brand new road. Here are the rough impressions I got from doing that: Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees... Mmh, there's a lone train station with a construction site in the middle of nowhere.... Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees... Ohh! Buildings! Just a few warehouses and farm buildings but at this point I need some sensory input other than foliage, fields and endless road... Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees, Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees.... Ohhh... An extensive road network on the other side of a ditch, connected by roads. Looks like there's going to be a city here some time in the future... and if so, it'll have a quite beautiful city entrance. I am looking forward to exploring it once it's there..... Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees.... Mmmhh, those are some nice cliffs! A little bit too much undulation in the stony texture, but nice nonetheless.... Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees,Trees, Trees, Fields, Trees, Fields, Fields, Fields, Fields, Trees.... Hello Gusa! When I arrived I was a few pieces of knowledge richer as well as fully healed. Little wonder, considering that I have been jogging for almost two hours straight! ....and I saw almost NOTHING. Nothing other than nice, open landscape and a few glimpses of the future. Of things to be there eventually. However, I am also grateful that I did it because it allowed me to catch up on two Yahtzee Croshaw videos I haven't seen yet as well as knowing that there is a very scenic road which can take me from Berezino to my home town rather stress free. Would I recommend it? ...yes, actually. If you're into gazing at the landscape or just have time to burn I'd say give it a go. You get the chance to see something you haven't seen before. Edit: It's actually called "Guba", not "Gusa". I misread the map. It's late, give a guy a break! -
What would you like see added to the game
Darrus Dreadtiger replied to Monkey magic's topic in General Discussion
persistent storages, I know they're coming, but I'd rather have them soon. I feel way more comfortable running through a city playing doctor in a t-shirt and jeans, not in a full uniform decked out with military-grade equipment. Probably would also scare half the players off and make a lovely target for the other half. -
please remove the barracks at balota
Darrus Dreadtiger replied to outlaw1198's topic in General Discussion
It's against my better judgement to share my findings, but I can't help myself being nice: Tent camp south of Balota (actually spawns military-class loot now) North of Kamenka in the Woods (entrance right side of the road from Kamenka to Pavlovo) South Zelenogorsk (where the supermarket used to be) Southeast of Vybor (road leading there from Pustoshka to Rogorevka, but heading straight southeast from Vybor is easier)
