What I'd like to see in DayZ is dual wielding pistols, on a side note I was also intrigued by the lee enfield choice, on a sovietic setting it should be replaced by the mosin nagat. As for my wish list: Desert Eagle (.44 / .41 / .50 / 357 ) I believe the variants in guns can really make a difference in player customization Different camo on guns (they could make some spray pain that spawn in industria areas so you can change the camo on your gun) And my last one which I call fantasy.. Yes it does make you look like a pussy, 60 days, 92 zombie kills , 0 bandits, 0 murders I call this bullshit, before patch 1.7.6.2 I was fixing, flying and crashing about 3 helicopters a day, 6 out of 10 servers the helicopter was on the island, you are just not trying hard enough or your just scared of the island. I call bullshit again, there is no way in hell in 60 days you didn't encounter at least one decent sniper, zigzaging is not as effective as you think, all he has to do is lead you for a few seconds than calculate the position and take the shot, in 60 days you will get at least one shot on you, this is FACT You are a stat whore and your whole post proves it, you go around avoiding players and play on low populated servers and try to avoid any kind of dangerous encounter just to get a "high score" , as a previous poster said you are no better than the BF3 players that reset there stats. Again... you are not trying hard enough, I have 7 servers with about 4 big camps and other smaller camps at the edges of the map, there are camps even near the PBX spawn point. All this posts shows is some common knowledge in a decent format with bullet points and a structure to make it look more "insightful" and the rest is just "look at me, LOOK AT ME"

14 hours ?, 7 ppl ? you are doing it wrong mate, just get one piece of scrap metal, one engine, and some jerry cans, repair the engine, repair the main HitvRotor with the scrapmetal and just fly the helicopter north of Dolina, land it inside the courtyard and just empty the industrial spawns there untill you have every part needed, there are also 3 spots where you can refuel jerry cans, it takes me a maximum of 3 hours to get a chopper fully repaired and fueled

I belive you are having this problem is because you only downloaded the latest patch, check your downloaded file, if it's only 99mb in size you have only the patch files, you will need to download the larger lingor island mod which is 510mb here is a direct link to the full lingor island files v0.34: http://cfgfactory.com/kc/pozzuh/Lingor2.7z and also a video on how to install dayz lingor:

Sounds like a good server and I'd like to join buy the 3D think its a deal breaker, I get dizzy after 10 minutes running in first person from all the motion

People are tired of me people ? I'm tired of all these forums posts whining about bugs and glitches in a ALPHA, get real people. You are testers on a UNFINISHED version of a mod for Arma II, get that through your thick skulls and stop wasting space on these forums. You bought a full version of a working game: Arma II, DayZ is a mod that is still in construction, you are not "playing the game" mate, you are testing it for the developer to make it bug free and such. Most games don't even open alpha testing to the public and most bugs and security holes get fixed in Beta. You play an Alpha version of a mod and whine about bugs ? phhh, i'm glad you are leaving, see ya

The gun was in an earlier stage of the mod so it's possible it's not hacked it,just someone who had it at there old camp site, how many of them were at the camp ?

Marks put on the map are visible to everyone else of the server who has a map, waypoints are only visible to you.

That sounds like the best suggestion I've heard past few weeks, it's entirely up to you if you find the mod playable or not but personally I find it fun and playable, I run daily with mates from my gaming community and we have lots of fun, to each it's own, don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the hackers, grieving, server jumping and ghosting gone as much as the next guy but currently the mod is not at that stage so you can either compensate for that or quit.

I consider this mod an Alpha... not even a beta, do you guys understand what that means ? you are not playing a finished game, you are playing a mod that it's in construction and as such there are major bugs, glitches and security holes that gives hackers the possibility to exploit them. The hacking going rampart it's a fallout of the mod's success and until the mod is fully finished or the standalone version is released don't expect things to change, game development takes years and you people expect updates every week ? most of the replies I read on this topic follow the same pattern of treating the mod as a finished game. Stop treating the game as a finished product and start treating is as what it is, an Alpha that is still in development.

Earlier this day... I was on a german server driving my brand new red UAZ along the coast, i approach a small town and I see a player with no guns and the bandit skin getting chased by zombies, I stopped the car while he was saying: FRIENDLY, FRIENDLY, he got inside the car and we drove to the next town, on our way there a bus on the road approaching from the opposite direction, my passanger proceeds to tell me: he's my friend stop; so I slowed down as the bus driver gets out and noticed he didnt had a gun either but also a bandit skin... the other player gets in the car, as I was low on fuel I stopped at a gas station to fill my jerry cans and refuel the car, after doing that proceeded on a road into the mountains, my passangers than said: go to the military camps near solnizcky (or w/e its called) so we can get guns and i said ok, lets go there. On our way there a though crossed my mind: what if these two new friends of mine backstab me? so as we were going down a road nowhere near a town with forests on both sides I said: i need to eat and drink and stopped the car. After exiting the car I equiped my M4A1 CCO SD and shoot them both through the windows, BAM BAM BAM,as the first player died the second tried to jump in the drivers seat and drive off but he was too slow, BAM BAM BAM and hes dead, car is on fire and I'm stranded 7 km away from any town, at least i'm not dead.

i found 3 once in a life at NW airport, and currently one that i am using so pretty rare, ammo is also hard to find
