I wonder how you want to get a tree into a wood mill without an axe. ;) Tbh I think the idea pretty bad for DayZ. And its actually a good thing if not everyone could find a pickaxe/ axe very easy. Also that you need extra space if you want to carry both, axe and pickaxe so you can cut trees and gather stone. Its good for teamplay and player interaction.

I dont think they should break actually. Dont think you can still swing your fists at someone when they are so f**ked up that they will break soon. But they should definitly get damaged and do less damage after some time. BUT it would be cool if you could break your hand/ fingers when you throw in too much painkillers/ morphine. ;) You could punch like a beast but when the painkillers stop working you would notice that you f**ked up your hands and broke a few fingers maybe.

Can imagine this will change a bit in the future. With a better health/ medical system all kind of things could happen when falling down. I think I can remember Rocket talking about a falling animation (or maybe it was a developer of another game lol not sure tbh..). Maybe when they work on this they might change how falling works. Something.

2 quick answers: This videos were most likley made before the last update. The zombies are much tougher now but this might change in the future. And the reason why you spawn with no stuff after your game crashed is most likely that when you exit the game your character still stays in the game for 30 more seconds. If your game crashes and you are somewhere near zombies or players they might kill you. Happened to me a few times. But when the game crashes and you are out in the forest your gear should still be there when you start again.

Depends on the level of gore. Missing arms and legs- maybe if there is not too much blood and splatter. But any brain flying through the air- most likely banned yup.

There should be a chance for every weapon to spawn with a mag. Because the more guns there will be in DayZ you need more kinds of mags. And with lets say 30 different kinds of mags you would have to make them spawn more common so guns can be used at all. But if you find guns with mags you could at least use most of them when you find them. For example M4, FX, M1911 should have a 60% chance to spawn with an empty mag and maybe 10% to spawn with a full/ filled mag.

Trust me Im not playing the wrong game. But if you realy want this NPC like stuff its maybe the wrong game for you. I know many people want kind of quests or other events givn by the game but the core idea was a game without all that. By the way when vehicles and bases are in there is enough reason to go around the map and do stuff. -

Pretty sure they wont add this. Its a scripted event and they want a game without that kind of stuff. Also I wouldnt realy enjoy this if knew its just some programmed event that changes the town every few days. Would feel like doing the same old sidequest again and again.. -

People will say that you dont need to carry that much stuff with you espacially not 2 weapons. But I think if you realy notice when you have too much stuff in your backpack it would be very balanced. Running speed could decide between life and death many many times. So if you realy want that 2 bug guns you can carry them. But expect to be not able to run into cover as fast as other people who carry less. I would say a slow up to 30% if you carry way too much, maybe even more.

Yea I would say both a No. First, there should be nothing in DayZ you can find realy easy. Not even clothings. And the second one, well its been discussed a 100 times in the forums so there should be plenty of answers why its a No. -
If they would comment people would tell them to stop because they should develop the game and not comment in the forums.

But thats not how DayZ works. Actually its not about fun at all... besides the shooting but if you want to shoot people you could play any other FPS game. Any feature which makes +gameplay and -realism wouldnt fit into DayZ. (Not sure if you wanted to say that you want less realism and more gameplay, if not eh)
