This is a suggestion thread so use it for suggestions and not crying. I getting pissed that there are no creative ideas here but only stuff like this where people post obvious stuff that has been said million times before. Its not even a suggestion because you dont say how they could make it better. I would be happy if some of this threads would be just simply deleted to set an example.

I hope claymores wont make it into the game because Im pretty sure some guy who has no use for it would just place it randomly in cherno or whereever and it would be just simply annoying. Anyway I dont even think Dean has plans to put something like claymores in the game, because of for example this reason.

Its kind of an abuse of the melee-problems of DayZ, but these guys are so low-skilled they didnt deserve anythings different. :D I mean... they got an axe and a mosin?!

As far as I remember he said something about that in an interview far before the alpha came out so I guess many people didnt know of that, therefore its just right you posted your suggestion. Hopefully other people will use the search funcion so we wont have to deal with 100 more threads with the same ideas. ;)

Rework of server selction screen and player balancing.

1. This will most likley change when vehicles and bases are in. These will be only on one server and if you change your server this stuff will be gone. 2. I think Dean have this suggestions a pretty much a "No" 3. 3rd person will only be aviable on about 1/3 of the servers in the future. -
You cant expect it in the near future, but Dean already confirmed something likes this, that you have to take care of your gear/weapons.

You should be able to take a bite and recognize if its the same taste like that sausage you once found near Balota. Or you could force feed your belongings to some new-spawns. You also could use it to mark your territory. If someone steps into your poo you could smell that guy from some distance. Especially after all that beans.. hehe... that stinky bastard has no idea what hes standing on...

Things like this have no place in DayZ. It is supposed to be a zombie survival, so no blowing a train up and C4 and more explosions and whatnot.

In the future it will be harder to survive and you need to care about your survival all the time. Therefore you wont need any endgame goals because you will never reach any endgame where you have enough of everything and it gets boring. You will just need to wait because it is in alpha and yes that is the excuse that it is too easy right now to get everything you need.

Of course you can, but you will get exactly that rage that the griefers get. Why do you even complain? Combat loggers suck, griefers do too. End of story. -
Well I havent thought of that... ok that acctualy makes a huge different. :) Lets see what other people think of that, I vote my "yes" for it if the system has no bigger drawbacks.

Good idea, I just dont want to spawn 2km away from my friends when my game crashed... So what we would need is that the server would notice if you logged out or your game crashed and a system like this could be easily abused, so I dont think this would work out. Anyway welcome to the forums :)

The inventroy interface is not final and will be improved in the future. Noone knows how exactly it will look like, but I guess it will be more or less what you have suggested. -

If the "study body" will make it into the game again you could walk to your corpse and see what killed you. ;) I think they wanted to improve it so you could see if you got killed by 9mm or some 5,56mm or just a hatchet in your head. -
Welcome to the forums. As they wanted to add dogs to the DayZ mod I can imagine they will add them to the standalone in the future. Especially when hunting makes it into the game dogs could get realy interesting to help you find animals and hunt them down. Also tracking players and the training of the could get realy interesting and maybe people would even care more about their own lifes when they dont just own loot but also a dog. ;) You can loot your own corpse, but if you die the dog should run away.

Already discussed in this thread: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/159048-aggresive-animals-in-dayz/ I dont want to see zomb-imals in DayZ but more like dangerous animals like wolves or bears, if you come too close to them. I dont think Dean wants to see zombie animals in his game too. And welcome to the forums :)
