Day Z… Where Hackers can ruin 4 hours of hard work and travel in a blink of an eye. Then again so can Zombies, Trees, Ladders, Rocks, Doors and high places. This is a video about Hackers. Two different sorts. The first was what I like to call the AssHat, this guy teleports every tent, vehicle, and player to one spot in the server, then proceeds to kill you. He effectively ruins the server. The next I call GoodGuy Hacker, he tries very hard to scare me, then impress me, then he kills me by mistake. But GoodGuy Hacker is nice enough to “help” me get all my lost gear back. 2 hackers, 2 stories, the same night. For those of you who have experienced this share in the chuckle, there’s nothing you can do about it but laugh. For those new to the game consider yourself warned, you will die and it could very well happen like this. This video also highlights some of what those script kiddies can get away with. I also submit this as evidence of hacking and any banning that result from this video I heartily applaud. Enjoy Thanks to U.S. 1715, I love this Server. Hope to see you there. DaveDayZ

Thank you compLex! I haven't really gotten into posting stuff on youtube, and this was kinda a test using windows video editor for the first time, and I think it came out ok. Thank you for the thoughts. It makes me want to make more.

Yeah I was getting a little excited. (ok really REALLY excited) My heart was pounding like crazy. I really need to find a better spot for my mic thou so its not quite as loud. ;) I think its a testament to how involved this game makes you feel. It is one of the only games I have every played that caused me to have any physical reactions, and I have been a gamer all my life.

Playing on my home server US 1715 and running with the OSS last night, we had an encounter with two bandits. Here is a short video of the nights events. Enjoy. Sham, Cody, no hard feelings. Also thanks for not hiding my body. Our bandits are really nice when they ain't puttin bullets into your soft places.

I disagree with you. I pretty much only play on this server these days. I have contacted the clan who runs it and they are damn good guys. They try very hard to run a fair server. I contacted them for same reason in the beginning because I got kicked after getting smoked by a crew in a chopper, and I thought it was the clan that was getting me then not letting me back on. It was frustrating cause I had almost made it back to my body. Turns out there was a hacker in there that was causing all kinds of problems (This happens everywhere I know ) and their solution was to kick everyone not known so they could try and isolate the hacker and get a ban put on him. I found their clan forums and joined it just to talk to them about what had happened. Now I join in on their voice server when I play and a better group of guys would be hard to find. They follow the rules. I would recommend going to their clan page and checking them out if you have issues in the future playing there. Take it or leave it but that is my 2 cents.

Personally I love playing at night. It makes sense to only move around at night as a survivor where everything in the game is out to get you. The Darkness is your friend. Also, just jack your gamma settings up. You will be able to see fine. (most of the time) Or, give your self the mission to find nvg. They are out there, you just have to find them. Then you will love playing at night, in the rain, on a cloudy night.

Just a follow up, I was able to log into that server today with no issues. I dont know what was going on there, but I am able to get back in now. Thank you for the reply Priceless.

I was kicked off the server my friend and I have been playing on (us 1387) its a great server and we love it there. I was running along and was kicked of with message : Banned by battleeye ESP Cheats. I started this night on the coast, along way from where i had logged out. which was a pain in the ass, and was trying to get back to where we had hid some bikes and I got kicked off. I do not have any cheats atall, no scripts, no nothing. Why would battle eye kick me? Is there a way to get back on? Pretty frustrating.
