I would just like to say that DayZ has frankly gone to shit. It used to be about survival and banding together to fight in epic battles for epic loot or to be the top gun on the coast so you can progress up north. Now there are 50 different mods, and servers where you can build helicopters with a main rotor and an engine. Nothing is rewarding anymore, and that is what used to make DayZ such a good game. It used to be big risk=big reward but now you spawn with a badass gun and it is just coast wars. Finding a DMR or an AS50 used to be a jackpot but now they catered to the noobs they removed AS50's and DMR's can be found in one of the hundreds of added buildings on seemingly every server. DayZ SA is buggy and laggy and poorly optimized even. Honestly DayZ needs to go back to how it was, and stop trying to be all sorts of stupid.

It would just be awesome if it went back to being really difficult. No extra buildings, AS50's, spawn with a makarov. Good times.

Believe me, I have tried to find one and this is my collection so far: Rust The Dead Linger WarZ (I know I know) The Forest Miscreated 7 Days to Die State of Decay Contagion Don't Starve (if that counts) How to Survive Sir you are being hunted Nether Dead Island Dead Rising 2 ZombiU (played for a while) H1Z1 when it comes out. Believe me I have searched and bought and played so many games like DayZ but none of them compare to how DayZ was. I remember climbing on top of a gas pump (the one with the ladder) just to avoid zombies. I remember rage quitting because it was so hard. I remember running through the darkness until it got daytime. I remember logging out because I found a gun (lee enfield) because I thought it was so rare and awesome. If there is a game like DayZ, I would be surprised if I haven't found it.

So I haven't played DayZ for a while now, because of something that happened about 2 months back. I had made my way up to stary and was looting, when a couple of zombies chased me. They kept chasing me and chasing me. I ran up hills, through buildings, even wasted mags on them but they didn't die. I realised I should just log off. So I logged off and came back in. And they were all around me. Everywhere. I couldn't move or so anything. The scary thing is, they had no skin, they were just bones and flesh and scary shit. I was trapped in a room as well. Was a hacker fucking with me. Doubt it, no hacker could do this. similar thing happened to me. i was in a field above kamenka after i had raided the deer stands. i had an M16A2 and a G17. I was in the field when i saw cows, hundreds of them. I was thinking DAFUQ? I saw 5 dead bodies lying in the field where the cows were, i was about 120 metres away watching through my binoculars. Out of curiosity, i walked into the field, the dead bodies didnt have anything worth grabbing except food an drink. I was crouch running in case a sniper was watching me, when the cows looked at me. Every single one of them. I looked at one of them, its eyes staring into my soul. i shot at the one i was looking at but it didnt die, it just kept staring. I started running and managed to get to the treeline. After about 5 minutes of watching the cows with my binoculars, i saw one look at me, and he was the last thing i ever saw. I don't know if it was a hacker, or a glitch, but it was something about the herd of cows that sent a shiver down my spine. The way they looked at me? The dead bodies? No. No. I forgot the part where one of the cows had no face. You don't have to believe me, but i saw what i saw. And it scared the shit out of me
