Hey guys. I recently tried to get back into dayz to find that my cd key has been stolen, or something of the sort. I do believe the reason is because a while ago I downloaded something, I think an fps booster, and it stole it. At least thats what I think. I have tried a couple solutions and none of them are working, so I think i'll buy a new copy. However, I don't know if the program is still on my computer and I can't afford too lose it again. I'm not sure what I should do, or if just uninstalling Arma 2 OA is enough?

Well I actually ended up following some guide on youtube and got it back. However now i'm having an issue with no items spawning around me : U It is quite annoying xD

Nevermind, bought it again and redownloaded. and same thing again. Spent 55 bucks so far, not going to try again. Thanks, I guess.

I really want to play it again, any way you guys could help? T.T

The scan came up with nothing from what I can see, though some files were password protected. They didn't seem shady at all, though.

I am running a virus scan currently, and I found some shady files deleted all of them. I also looked through my list of programs, nothing shady there. And I fully removed arma 2 and arma 2 oa. I can buy a new copy on a new account right now, and the only thing related to dayz on my computer still is dayz commander. Should I buy a new copy, or is that not enough? I'm not really sure how to wipe my computer completely.. I might do that, will it make my computer run any faster?

If I buy the new game is there any way I could check the key when I buy the game, so I could recover it if it gets stolen or something?

Or is that not enough?

Would you guys consider it safe if I made a new steam account, deleted arma 2 and arma 2 oa, and purchased it on the new steam?

So, the title pretty much explains it. EVERY time I get something I die immediately afterwards. Literally, My friend gave me camo Clothing and an Ak with one clip, so I went to elektro, found ANOTHER ak, put it in the alice pack I found and started walking away and BOOM headshot. Nobody cares if you say friendly, Everyone shoots on sight. I literally have wanted to delete this game twice now, because every PVP encounter I have ever had has been me dying almost instantly. The only time I had a fighting chance is when I walked up behind someone (right after dying mind you) and I had a double barrel from a lucky barn spawn, Aimed to kill, realized I needed to reload, and he turned around and started shooting. So I ran and jumped off the building... I don't know what I'm getting at, Maybe asking for a team, or advice.. I have a skype and all so a team would be cool. It just sucks that I have never gone 10 minutes without death after getting something good

Another thing about going north is that If I don't have a gun what happens if a Zombie sees me? Do I just run for hours? I think i just want a team..

I want to get good gear though.. I was just leaving anyways... Also, just spawned again, ran For 30 minutes, completely unarmed got killed again... Who the fuck would waste machine gun bullets on a newly spawned person with NO weapon,?............

Hey guys, I plan to get Day Z really soon, because my birthday is in 4 days, and It looks AMAZING. I don't think I have a bad computer at all, I can run minecraft, blacklight, league of legends, and even skyrim (not much though) But I was bored so I went to the whole canyourunit Website, and they said I could not > : o. It says the reason is my graphics card, and this is it: ATI mobility Radion HD 4200. I also could list my other Specs, if you could tell me how to find them. Also, sorry if this post is in the wrong section it is my first post. Thanks guys, hopefully I can play this game soon. Ok Here goes with my specs: Model: Hp G42 Notebook, pc (windows 7) Processor; AMD Athlon II P340 Dual core processor ~2.2Ghz 3072 MB RAM If you need anymore, Please ask. will this run it?

Ok Mine is a Mobility Radeon, the min. Is a ATI Radeon 3500 Or faster.... Doesn't say mobility, but does that really matter?
