Oh my god i finally got on!!!! I downloaded the 1.05 to 1.11 patch and it updated my arma2 and now i can play. Thanks for the time and help fellas, Much appreciated

Ok, i just went onto arma 2 and it says i have version 1.06.70710 What patch should i download ?

I ended up giving up on this and uninstalled everything. Im gonna download windows 7 on my computer and then try this again. My brother has same computer as me but he has windows 7 and he said he downloaded and played it with no problem. Im also downloading arma 2 by itself and gonna run it and then download OA and run that and go from there :)

Ok now that error isnt coming up anymore but a differnt one when i click server ' dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA, Dubbing_counterattack' and i get a red text as i try to join saying, You cannot play/edit this mission it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.

Ok i just copied them to oa and im gonna try it out now. What do you mean about "are u sure u are running OA"? I ran it earlier and it was different from Arma 2 so yea im running oa :) Ill let u know if it works brb

Ok i ran both of them and on OA i got this error " No Entry Bin\cinfig.bin/CfgVehicles/M119.turnCoef' " but it still let me play the OA game. I try to get on to DayZ again and i get the same errors as before: Files "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA2\addons\a10.pbo", "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA2\addons/ah64.pbo" "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA2\addons\air.pbo", "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA2\addons\air2.pbo", "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA2\addons\air3.pbo", ""C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA2\addons\animals.pbo", ... are not signed by a key accepted by this server. To play on this server, remove listed files or install additional accepted keys.

This is so aggravating! I went on Amazon.com and purchased the combined Arma2 and Arrowhead. Downloaded them and downloaded DayZ commander. Everything downloaded and says up to date. Ive reinstalled Arma 2 and Arrowhead both, redid all the patches and even did the Play with Six and i still get the same messages. Ive been trying to figure this out for 4 hours now and im getting no where. Do i have to move files around or what? Can someone please help?

Just reinstalled, says the same thing. Still not working. Will i ever be able to play this effing game :( ?

I bought a legit combined ops on Amazon.com Im reinstalling both games now. Ill let u know if it works ( which i doubt)
