    Yup it's running so well that i've discovered that an human can eat 3 cows in a day... Jokes apart, it should be fixed really, actually the food is more likely the energy in a traditional videogame, and it puts down the realism.

    Incentivizing Behavior

    Exact, this mod is born with no real purpose of being played as a traditional game (rocket admitted it), he said it's more an "experiment". We didn't accounted the casual players (that actually are the majority), those players must be "incentivate" to follow certain game schemes, otherwise they wouldn't invest hourse to understand the mechanics, to deploy a plan, to socialize, they only want to have some fun, and it means being in the action immediatly, and it translates into shooting at other players, that's sadly exactly he opposite of a natural zombie apocalipse mood, that (apart some rare thrilling moments) should be concentrate on the "patience" more than the action. Do you really believe that a 12-14yo player (im just talking about the average gamer) would have this patience? I remember when i was so young.. my sole fun were the action not the strategy. Unfortuntely this ruin the game.. i'm not saying that there's a "correct" way to play this mod, but there's an "ideal" way.. otherwise it would be no different than tenth of other shooters. DayZ should be distinctive, not one like many others.

    Yup so tense: first to spot > first to fire > win; other > die. It's so tense that i were doing this in Quake Arena.

    Those defending the skin removal will be the first to moan when everyone will be forced to turns into a "bandit" and there will be more role playing at all. Even if they are bandits right now, since because it will be no different than any other FPS out there. I hope they'll introduce some other method to identify a type of player or it will be a frag-fest.

    When to trust people

    If you want to play this game "seriously" .. you need a clan (and so time.. and so probably you're a person with (much?) time.. mostly young). If you're a casual player you're "forced" to shoot anyone (before they shot at you..). You can't avoid it, it is a fact.. you can be lucky to find a friendly person one time.. two times maybe.. but then you'll find the noob, just logged in, that will shot you no matter, coz he just played BF3 or CoD 5 minutes before, and he read about how cool DayZ is on a gaming forum. With the bandit skin removal it will be even worse.. there'll be serious players and clans, and there'll play death-players. Sadly the death-match ones will be the majority (coz the hardcores are here on this forum, bue there's thousands others out there..).

    If you have friends (or trusted persons that you know outside of the game) it's fine, but they are the minority, so the whole rest will be bandits with angel faces. :) I just need you to trust me for more than 10 seconds, then i'll shot you in the head; so what's the other option? Do not trust anyone, it means never and ever have any social activity with anyone (being lonewolf) .. it's not that attractive. So i agree on the fact that it will be more like the real life.. but only thorical, in real life you wouldn't have 80% of newbies spawing and start shooting everywhere only because they can respawn 1 minute later. So there must be an indicator to tell you the "type" of person you are, otherwise it's crazy easy to fool you.. again: i only need half second to shot at you, and you believe to react in time 100% of the times? Naaaa.
