It was just over 20 minutes luckily, tbf the tension was fun for the first 15; was pretty crazy but towards the end when I was the last when left - yeah, was beginning to become a waste of time.

Aye true, that was my mentality towards the end. Half was like - don't give these guys the satisfaction, the other half was like - da fuq you doing sitting around?

We spent a while trying to negotiate to no avail, and we were hoping if we waited our buddy could come over and check if those two guys were the last; evidently things went tits up.

Hey guys, So - I've been recording a new series all about DayZ encounters; I just wanted to know what's the weirdest encounter you guys have come across? The weirdest I've got on recording so far is this guy right here, I mean wow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tnMJIFxHg4 "There seems to be a dickhead down there..." For a bit of background I was in a full hardcore server, strolling around the midlands of the map and saw these two guys huddling in a room so I ask if their 'friendly', not wanting to blow them away. And well, shit got interesting and then to further things another guy turns up.

You don't. If you are unarmed, there is no gain in killing a zombie - they've got no loot and you'll end up getting injured; just use those fresh spawn legs and run the hell away.

My gear so far: Oh, and believe it or not - I had 5+ cans/tins of food and drink in that backpack. Yes, I shit you not.

I agree. Private hives shouldn't be promoted at all, and while I guess one may not be able to stamp them out completely, they shouldn't be viewable on the client's server list.

Isn't the AS50 TWS a blacklisted weapon?

My current, are favorite set up would have to be - L85A2 AWS; for it's supremacy at spotting hostiles and taking them down before they have even seen you. With it's zeroing and thermal capabilities this is a no-brainer. Trouble is if I die, it's a bitch to find. FN FAL; this must be used as a back up with it's unmatched 8000 blood damaged, it is my prime choice for the CQB encounters that the L85's scope can't handle. Lay down 1 shot of this badboy and place it right, and your tango is down without even blinking. M9SD; those pesky Zeds can really give away your position when having to fire at them, thus the M9SD is the perfect Zed killer, although ammo can be a pain to find.

Yes, as stated above - people will only resort to other methods of exploiting the humanity system as soon as one is taken away; but bare in mind the game is still in alpha and has a lot of room for improvement.

Hello community, As the title states, I am looking for an active, organised group to team up with on DayZ. But first things first, a bit about myself: I am 15 years of age, and I know a lot of you will turn your backs at this post right now; but I must ask you to read on putting age aside. I am capable of acting maturely and I have a lot of experience with DayZ, FPS' in general - along with shooting and navigational skills in real life. I have participated in multiple team based groups in online games and am capable of following orders and getting the job done. I can bring a lot to your group; experience, military tactics and maturity in the face of contact (not going guns-blazing or standing up clueless in the middle of a firefight).
