AK47 Has an effective AUTO range at 300M and an effective range at 500M, and the sights extend all the way to 800M (With reasonable accuracy, providing low humidity/crosswind) good sir! Furthermore, the AK47 has fewer mechanical parts, and those that are active, are generally bigger, to allow for easier repair and matinence. The unit cost of a single FAMAS for millitary and government use is around the 2700 Euro mark, where as the AK is so low cost you can't actully buy one in a single unit (Outside of western civilisation). So before you think you're an expert and trying to abuse everyone in a forum that doesn't have the same views as you, just remember, people out there, can, and will.
