Here: http://www.armaholic...id=6649 Bottom of the page. Its a bit of fixing with the paths to the game and the mod but then you should be able to run the game with the right version. Hope it works for you!

I had this exact problem. This is how I solved it: I downloaded the latest patch and installed it as usual. Then you need to not start Steam or launch the game through Six Launcher. For me, it f¤#ks up the game. I dont know why but the game wont start with the right version. It does works however if you start it from the "ARMA2 Launcher". Good luck!

Thanks Ajvkorn. You're right, if I start through Six Launcher AND have steam shut off I get the right version for Arma2. Allthough Six launcher thinks I have 1.7.2.4 version of DayZ but .5 is installed :S . Wierd stuff this.
