- ChiliCheesedogZ Zombie Apocalypse - (a nice place to die)

Great server! Loads up very quickly and there is a small but active player base on almost all the time! The admins were very helpful and even brought me a blood bag when I was first starting out. This server is definitely beginning to grow I would highly recommend this server to anyone looking for a good DayZ community, I'll be on regularly! -
Normally I am able to get pretty good frames on this game even on very high settings, but the last couple days for some reason I am getting very poor frame rates (around 5-10 fps it feels like). I tried changing the graphic settings but it has absolutely no effect on the frame rate, good or bad. I don't think this is a server side issue either because 1. I've played on this server before with good fps 2. My friends that I'm playing with aren't having any problems. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Looking for a group (4 players max)

When I go to connect to "85.236.100.85:10697", it asks for a server password. Leaving it blank did not work. -

What is the server password? I tried LAB but that didn't work. -

Hey man, I just died so I don't have much to contribute to the camp, but I know what I'm doing and will definitely help you stock up! Added you on Skype, let me know EDIT: Couldn't find you on Skype for some reason. -

Hey man I'm by no means an expert, but I'd be down to show you some Day Z basics and group up if you're still interested :) Skype name: ScoopJukem (anyone can add me if they want to play) -
Unfortunately you can't, unless you are the tent owner, then you can save them. This is the main issue of item duping, which ruins the value of items in game.
-
@HMS Well it DID get rid of the items because the tents were destroyed by fallen trees (you don't really get a good look in the video), however as soon as the server admins logged back in they restarted the server to get back their items... As far as the remaining tents and vehicles, we made sure to destroy them as well before we left. And as far as the wires and stuff, yeah that really sucks. We were hoping to level the place, it was still impressive, but not quite what we expected.

Car wheel stuck in the ground...

No cigar, however apparently every wheel is broken now, we're going to try to fix them. -
Car wheel stuck in the ground...
ScoopJukem replied to ScoopJukem's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
We're going to try to shoot it off and repair it, I'll let you know. -
Has anyone else had one of their wheels permanently stuck into the ground after running into something? Our GAZ is completely stuck, because one wheel is basically glued to the ground. We can run the engine and spin around, however the one wheel will not move. The wheels are at red damage but when we go to fix one of them with a spare tire nothing happens. Any ideas on how to fix this? We've tried flooring it and ramming it with other vehicles, none have worked :\

I was thinking that a crowbar that could be equipped to the tool bar could be used to break into various locked buildings/vehicles. Similar to your idea of breaking into a hospital, but also for example getting into a bus you just found or a locked warehouse, etc.

Incentive structure favoring cooperation, not punishing PvP

The problem with the bandit skin is that it does a horrible job of determining which players are nice and dicks. The humanity system just isn't set up correctly to fulfil its intended purpose. For example, I am a bandit currently when I've only ever killed 2 players who popped out in front of me armed and started shooting. Does this make me a bandit? @OP I think having your friends pick up your stuff and return it to you is good as is. Your system is unfair to the player attempting to kill and loot members of a group because it puts potential loot off limits. -
Remove zombie re-spawn, around player radius

Agreed, if I clear out an area, it should stay cleared out until I leave.
