So I got dayz and Ive already done alot to try and fix the lag without spending money, Im not good with computers but i think these are the specs for my laptop: CPU: Intel Pentium P6100 15.6 HD LED LCD Intel HD Graphics 4 GB DDR3 (If this is the RAM I now have 8 GB) 500 GB HDD DVD-Super Multi DL drive Acer Nplify 802.11b/g/n 6-cell Li-ion batter Im wondering if upgrading my parts will help improve my gameplay to where it will run smoothy, if anyone knows what I should upgrade and can tell me that would be helpful, understand I dont know if these are my exact specs, so im probly missing some stuff I do have. Plus I dont care about the graphic quality of the game, I already have put all that stuff as low as it can go and/or disabled them. Also Im not looking for a new thousand dollar gaming pc so if thats your solution dont post anything plz!

if you hav skype and keep the program open they use ur connection to let people talk over the internet, so the better ur connection the slower ur computer will run douchebag

So Ive tried doing alot of things to fix my dayz lag and since i dont kno alot about computers ive mostly been going to youtube! I did fix alot of my lag but its still there sometimes and i kno that ALOT of people are running there game way better then mine from the videos Ive watched and I kno alot of people are having the same trouble as me, so I created this thread so people could post there problems and or solutions! even though i like the xbox i would much rather have the PC version for this game :) Making it for the xbox would take way too much away from the gameplay i believe

you got my beans too, the only prob in all that u wrote is telling people to go back to cod... cod is still pretty cool even if its really annoying...

I agree this is the way the game should stay and cool way to die so far when im killed by another player its from a distant point and my guy just falls over :) We could do without the lag and glitches however...
