yes servers are limited mostly to 50 players, as a noob youll not really want to meet other players lol as it will mostly result in death lol. best game iv ever played and it's only a mod!!!. kind of game iv always wanted. As to how hard it is well for the first hour or 2 expect to die a few times by then youll have a fair idea of what not to do. imo its worth the buy. -
but can any1 confirm if it improves with hyperthreading off?

yes i would think. its worth a try you can always enable it again.

in you bios setting restart your pc and press the relevant f key when it shows the splash screen at boot. its like f2 or maybe even thel del key. just read screen fast at startup and press the one for bios option. and turn hyperthreading off.

k i heard this, i seen your link in the other post there here it is i cant confirm or deny.. if your CPU is an Intel Core i7 and OA stutters, try disabling the HT (Hyper-Threading) via the BIOS. let me know if it works.

if you post a pic of your arma 2 graphics settings on advanced tab till we see how your running it that would help alot, plus a g/card would help as you already know and since you mention the things you've tried, i imagine you've already seen all the posts but just looking there i came across this for i7's... if your CPU is an Intel Core i7 and OA stutters, try disabling the HT (Hyper-Threading) via the BIOS. hope this might help.

yeah i like the sound of a restricted view angle, im pretty sure the standalone will evolve and these things will come. or just get a humvee etc in a private hive :)

have either of you logged into the others steam account from the wrong computer, if logged in as his character i think you might have 2 sets of cd keys in your steam reg. just a thought i could be wrong. -
does your pc have arma2 min req.

click the settings tab, then near bottom left, click game settings, look top right and set your mor dir. hope this helps. -

ok, its like your routers firewall u can port forward as your internet security is your second line of defense. hope this simplifies it for ya. :) not so long ago it was modems wich wernt firewalled at all. -

plz plz plz roll the dogs out, i know the'r not perfect but is anything. the inventory eats shit but we've learnt how not to loose shit, so give us dogs and we'll learn how to keep them sweat, plz plz plz while we wait patiently for stand alone, :) suppose this isnt realy being patient is it lol. ps i have a german shephard and would so love 1 in game, 1.7.3 was so close, rocket lad you could sort this out in a few days :) sory im drunk :)

yeah last few updates has improved it but it still needs work. just close six then reopen it to refresh if u do it while its refreshing but not responding you may need to end process in task manager, i havent tried commander.
