Hello guys. After respawning ENDLESS times with my nice nice gear, i suddently end up spawning with NO gear at all, and only my guillie. Well, i've had some ideas of why it did the respawn and now was my time to try it. With 14 days ingame and some nice stats i decided to walk into Kamenka and let myself die. Sadly it was. I then started up a new char, and wanted to see if i still got respawned. I ran in elektro, looting and all and wanted to log out. When i tryed to login, i got stuck on loading screen so i thought, "Oh well, now im gonna respawn again somewhere random". But no, i dident. Actully now i can logout, and login again without a respawn. What was the solution, you may ask? I died! So heres my advice: - Find a tent, car or a friend to hold your gear. - Let a friend kill you, or walk into zombies and die. - Find your stuff again. - Play without respawning! Im afraid this bug is following the "character" as it is now. Before my death i couldent login without havin respawned some random place, but now im just playing the game as it was before. So i would love some feedback from others, who tryed this little thing. Atleast it works for me. - Daniel.

True, but allso happens if i try to join a 1.7.2.5 server, testet it a tons of times today.

Just logged in again to see if i was in a new spawn. Aparrently yes, spawned a NEW place, but. I dont have any items on me, AT ALL. Everything is gone. All i have is my guillie suit, and my stats. WTF?! So now what? Do i have to run to a zombie and die, just so i can respawn and play the game, that respawns me every time i log out? Christ sake :| Just sad. Lost L85, all kind og medical supplies, spawn point at our camp NW with cars and stuff - Im out until this is getting fixed.

Sadly, the common servers that i use allso can get stuck on the loading screen :( Cant figure out how to avoid this.

You dont mention the error as spawning on the coast in the video, but only how to update. Im running 1.7.2.5 and still getting the problem with the respawn. Can you confirm this solution fixed the respawning problem for you?

Updating it wont help. Its sadly a common bug, hope its getting hotfixed soon :(

Can any admin/moderater confirm at this is soon being hotfixed? The game is unplayable when you respawn every time. A few errors with loading screen on different servers is ok in alpha, as soon as you get in SOMETIME. But starting at the beginning point gives you absolute no point in gaming and moving in NE og NW :| Standing fully geared outside cherno and cba to play cus of this. Sad, as its one of the best games i've tried for years.

But do you see the problem anymore? I think the bug follows the character. So In my theory, you dont respawn now anymore. true/false?

Think i figured it out. The bug follows the person. So if you die, and respawn as new, it wont happen agan. Atleast thats my idea, happend to my friend and he died after being sniped, and never happend again. Now it did happen to me de last 10 times i logged in, so now im going to pack up all my gear in my car and then have my mate shoot me and respawn and get my gear :)

Hello. Only played this game a week, so im kinda new to this. But its going pretty good. Im fully geared with AWS, tons of mags and all the basics. Allso a guillie suit. Me and a couple of friends found a car and headed up to the airfield. Problem: We've encounted some other players, some of us allmost died (1000 blood) but saved from others with bloodbags and such. Suddently i take a sniper shot and i fall to the ground. Im bleeding to 900 blood untill my mate comes up and fixes me up with everything that is needed. I prone away after getting up in chock and after 2-3 minuts i log out. Then, a day after when i log in, im respawned at the beach in cherno? First i think i lost all my gear and the server dident react to me as if i was alive again, but then i see im in guillie and have all my gear! Wtf? I try different servers to see it its just another version that screws me up, but its all the same. Im at cherno, and all my mates are at Airfield. Great :| After 20 mins they pick me up in cherno with our car and we drive arround, takeing a few small cities and such. We logout in the middel of the map. Then i login today, in hope of having more fun. But this game just doesnt like me, as i RESPAWN AT CHERNO BEACH AGAIN?! Wtf.. All my gear, dont miss anything. Im just back to the coast. What is happening? Im allso having huge problems getting in to the server where our car is. Actully i cant login, it just pauses at the "loadind"-screen right after i hear some sound from the game. A blink of "Recieving..." is shown. I've clicked on the "verify" button on Six launcher and im trying get in games doing Dayz Commander but without any help. It allso says some servers are 1.7.2.5 and my version is 1.7.2.4. The server our car is on, is the old version, .4 but i cant get in there either. Please, i need some sort of help here. I love this game and all arround it, but the fact that im being thrown back to the coast after every logout makes me wanne do something else :( Help me please. - Daniel.

Oh ye, thank you. But now it just says error extracting files, and then gives me some error, hmm :| But. I find it kinda wierd, that a server i played on last night, wich is 1.7.2.4 gives me problems loggin in. Actully i cant login on it. Edit: Now its updated to .5! I changed the dictonary to the dayz folder and now it seems to work. Now maybe you can tell me, how long will my vehicle stay on the server, wich isent updated yet? ( Couldent login on it with the 1.7.2.4 version so i thought it wouldent mind if i just updated it anyways.) I know my car is nice hidden in the outskirts of map, so just curious :P

I use it to, but my Dayz Commander says the versions are out of date. When i click on version, and then on "Check now" it says error on getting files, or file is not responding. What to do?

My six updater still says 1.7.2.4, what is wrong? I did everything in here. Edit: I just uninstalled the sixupdater, to install it again. It still says 1.7.2.4?

Would just like to say im in same position. Have you been to a near-death situation? This happened to me after i was recovered with 900 blood at the airfield, after the most intense gaming experience in my life i think :) 2 snipers at the airfield, and me and my 3 other mates arround trying to get in the barracks :) We got out alive tho, thank god for bloodbags and all other medical stuffs, but this game is just intense when you are fully geared! :D Oh back to topic. I have same problem, so your not alone.

Well the fact is that it happened twice in about the last 48 hours (to each days login), so im just thinking: Will it happen again tomorrow? :| And still asking: Why cant i join the servers i could yesterday. They have the same version as me still.

So whats best for me to So, its being fixed atm? So if i dont login in a few days, ill be back to where i was? :) Allso the fact that i cant join the servers i was playing yesterday is a bit annoying, as tents and cars are there. Any ideas of that? Edit: In Dayz Commander, when i click on update versions, and "Check now", the Dayz Mod says: file host not responding. Anyone?
