And then you would loose it and not me. Private password server with only 4 of us on it so think not. Persistence is Dayz or it's just another video game. Looks like it's getting a Band-Aid and not a real fix.

You can loose your tents on servers that are running fine not just during server crashes. Whatever the problem is it has nothing to do with server crashes.

My PAX take-away was Astrogaming was pretty quiet until Brian showed and fired up Dayz. It was nice to see Dayz still draws a crowd. At the first sight of the new zombies everyone just looked at each other and smiled :)

Right now there are 43 passworded or locked servers. Why post a screenie or report them...everyone can see them including the Dayz mod team. It's not hard to figure out what is going on with these private loot bins...my question is when is it going to get fixed?

Disconnect, change server, flank, reconnect. Simple solution.

Server hopping isn't the biggest issue at play here. Time and energy should be directed at those hiding in passworded and locked servers (almost 100 as I post) gearing up then I suspect hopping to an open public server to pull off cappers like this. Passworded and locked servers need addressing first! -

I was able to take the Alice pack. Was then shot before I could get screenie. Suspect another player was also shot and the body despawned and left the Alice pack suspended in the air. Where you were: Medium yield building near three valleys What you were doing: Prone and crawling. *Current installed version: 1.7.1.5 -

The only time I didn’t get off the beach was somebody on the hill that had found a long gun and had come back to the coast for easy pickings. Without any weapons bagging defenseless players may become the next great thing to do in Dayz. I’m for trying it because this is an Alpha and we need to try new stuff. If it doesn’t work change it back.
