ok i managed to fix it i changed a few things around and updated some drivers and then did a full system restart.. i then launched the game as administrator and i have conformation that it works!

i don't want it to reset to default though because then it will go to my default mic witch is my webcam mic and i don't want that.. is there no way to change it in some sort of config file?

i don't see how that will work in anyway.. but thank you for trying to help me out!

im not using a steam version.. i bought it from GOG.com because my steam got banned for reasons i don't know yet and i tried the auto adjust setting whilst in a game of 'Takistan life' and it didn't work..

it is plugged in i use it on skype like it works on everything... i have tried it on a few servers none of them seem to work and i have got it set as default on my communications..

for some reason ever since i got a new headset my mic has stopped working ingame, i have tried setting it to default in my control panel and i have tried running my game as administrator but nothing works, i have searched and searched online for solutions but i am yet to find any so i came asking here. if you know how to solve this problem at all can you please tell me or if you know someone that had this problem and fixed it please tell them to point me in the right direction! ok i sorted it out i was stupid and updated my arma 2 operation arrowhead and then i didnt replace the battleye files it works great now!!!

yes i did buy it through steam :D

i bought arma 2 combined operations yesterday and tried to start up that dayZ mod. i get on to the servers but after and 30 seconds of playing it says battleye failed to update and then kicks me from the game. i have tried replacing the files the new fully updated ones but it still does it. both arma 2 and dayZ are up to date i really just dont get whilst it is doing it! help please? -XijaykayiX-

i have a laptop and i think you can change the key to use?

i want to get dayZ but im not sure if i will waste my money by getting it and then it wont work. here are my specs: PROCESSOR: dual core AMD radeon PROCESSOR SPEED: 1.8 GHz x 2 GRAPHICS CARD: AMD radeon 528 mb Vram (not shared) 1 or 2 gb of shared memory. RAM: 6GB RAM. MEMORY: 750GB can someone tell me iff this is good enough to play dayZ? i dont want to waste money! -XiijaykayiX-
