What are the restart times in GMT +1? And what time are the vehicle resets?

Thing is, loot only spawns if you approach the platform from 120 meters away. So techincally you would need to get dropped 120 meters away from the drilling platform, then swim to it.

I mean, everytime I find one, I use my time to fix it, and just when I can fly, a guy just randomly pops up and kills me, every fucking time. Are there really just hackers waiting for people, or am I just extremely fucking unlucky? Getting so goddamn tired of dying everytime something good happens. It's not possible to fix one and fly away. The only way to do this is either hack or have like 10 friends with you. Also, I managed to fix one and fly away, I flew out of map(appparently it was not even outside the map), landed, and logged out, next morning it's gone. How do I keep it overnight?

How do you show you are friendly from a distance where voice chat wont reach? I've always encountered this problem, and have never been able to explain to him I am friendly. So I thought, why not make the salute action an international sign of friendliness? So many pointless deaths might be avoided. Not to mention less PvP, since this is still a zombie game. EDIT: Oh wow, somehow my Battlelog avatar shows up here too... Cool.

I managed to find another one while server hopping. (To Dallas: Me too, but I have nothing else to do than find choppers. I never log out in combat though.) This one I fixed, I took some parts from a nearby tent, but I had to server hop to find the rest. When I once got it, I just flew around the map for a while, looking for stuff and just generally sightseeing. It was almost morning, I had stayed up all night fixing the damn thing. So I decided to land on the hotel on Chernarus, save it, then log out. Next morning it is GONE... I mean, there is no way to get up there while on foot, I checked, it is only possible with chopper. Still it's gone. I checked around the hotel, around Chernarus and could not see a crashed chopper. So my advice is; If you want a chopper, you better have the most exciting time of your life while you have it, because the next morning it's gone. TL;DR Found chopper, fixed it, flew around the map, landed on hotel on Cherno, log out, next morning is GONE...fucking GONE. Also, I only seem to find choppers at the worst times. When I'm not at home because of school, my internet shuts down at midnight. Guess when we find choppers? Anywhere from 10pm to 11:30pm.

I can't join. I really want to play on a Private Hive server but everytime I try to connect to this server I get "Reconnect Penalty" Timer. This would be totally fine except for the fact that it goes past the 0 mark, when I am supposed to be able to join. It just keeps going down, into negative numbers. I had about -200 when I gave up. It was my first time joining that server too...

My friend once found a chopper, while we were fixing it a guy showed up on the island with a L85 and started firing at my friend, he tried lifting off but the guy ran straight at him, he then bailed out and killed him with a... M9SD! The chopper was fully repaired but with very low fuel, so we decided to just fly away, land at a tank and refuel, but as I was joining the same guy, with the same weapon came back within minutes and killed my friend and GTFO'd with the chopper. Later when he spawned the guy came flying with the chopper and just crashed next to him. The fucking douchebag took it just to crash it, according to him. People suck. I cried.

I always save it. But my main point is I die every time I'm close to fixing it. It's like someone knows I'm about to succeed at something and then kills me. I just go on Skalisty Island and server hop until I find one. I've experienced so much in this game a chopper is the only thing that interests me. Tbh I would use it to pick up freshspawns and transport them to whereever.

Been thinking about this alot, mainly because it is annoying. I was sneaking around in Elektrozavodsk, in a server with around 10 - 15 players, when I meet a guy with a Camo Clothing, Silenced M4, and probably lots of other good gear too. I only had my Makarov with 3 mags. I was assuming he was just here to ruin for new characters by killing them, so I opened fire, hoping to claim that M4. I hit him a few times, I think he passed out because I did not get a murder. Then he dissapears. Now, obviously he logged off to not lose his gear, as most people would with such gear. Obviously I get annoyed because I know he WILL go to a different server and just either die there, or wake up again, with all his gear, and just live on. Then I continued looting houses, hoping to find drink and food. And what do I see? Some guy just proning there looking at the opposite direction. This time I actually asked him, in voice chat, if he is friendly. He didn't answer, stopped, and dissappeared. Again, he probably switched servers, or came back a few minutes later. I think it's fine if you went through the trouble running all the way north to find good weapons, and made it there and back to the coast with all this gear, to kill people. I mean, it's not like there is much else to do after you find good gear, except to find better gear, or a vehicle, and as I mentioned, kill people. There is never anyone that gets gear from the north, goes back to the coast to HELP new players. Anyways. I think there should only be one character per server. You are still able to log out to prevent death, but you will eventually die in that server. Atleast some kind of punishment. I'm not sure if it should be possible to have another character in a different server. Maybe one character in one server? EDIT: I did search before I post this, and did not find a similar post.

Well, I stopped playing on Norway servers when everytime something was wrong or fishy. (I am Norwegian.) But I know there is some serious hacking going on in Norway 25.

I was sitting on a hill near Elektro (not the hill you think), and was trying to find and kill people. I already had AS50, Ghillie Suit and a ton of rare stuff, was not really much else to do, don't hate. The server I was on was resetting soon, so I disconnected and joined another. At first the whole town seemed dead, until I hear footsteps behind me. I use Alt and mouse to look behind me, see nothing but bushes, then I see a gunflash coming from BEHIND the bush and kills me with one shot. Now, believe me, I'm not really mad that I died, it is sad to lose such gear, but I was not mad or anything. My question is how can someone so randomly just find me and kill me in what was less than 5 seconds. Remember, I had a Ghillie Suit, I was in a grassy area under a tree with the shadow over me, with bushes behind me. I really tried to conceal myself from attacks from behind. But this guy just finds me behind and under all this and kills me with one shot extremely fast. I barely reacted before I was dead. I did not even see the guy that shot me, all I saw was the bush and the gunflash behind it. Can this be a hacker? I just want your thoughts on this.

Forgot to mention I currently have no GPU, and had a resolution of 640x480 and settings on the absolute lowest for maximum FPS. So if I did not see through that bush, he can't possibly have.

How does it happen? I've severally joined a server to see a key building completely demolished. I think it must be the M136 Rocket Launcher, but I want to know exactly what it is. Also, these random forest fires, why do these appear?

Why does it matter? One can simply join another server and start a new character and try to build themselves up from there, come back a few hours later and continue.

Only thing that has happened to me is I join another server, lose all my gear, spawn in "Wilderness" with nothing in sight, only animals and other players. I then looted some guy and he had a Ghille Suit and lots of rare items, so I took them, joined a different server, where I spawned on the coast with the Ghillie Suit and items still on me, together with an Alice Pack.

I've tried the vid, it worked at first, but not anymore. Every server kicks me.

This has happened before, but then I could simply fix it by moving some BattlEye files around. Now nothing works. I've tried: Reinstall BattlEye. (ArmA II right click and "Reinstall BattlEye anticheat" on both games, and manually, from their official page.) Move the file from ArmA II's BESetup folder to ArmA II: CO Folder. Restart Steam. Six Launcher and DayZ Commander. Different server. Launch both ArmA II games once, then trying to connect again. So far none of these have worked.

I've tried this, I've tried to reinstall from ArmA II: OA menu, and I've tried to reinstall it manually. None of these worked. Let me edit the original post.

This might be an issue, but not in my case. I spawned at the coast without server hopping. It's not fair.

Happened to me too. I was about 2/3 of the way to the airfield from the coast, had some epic gear, and then this happened. I'm still on 1.7.2.4 though, but the server is was playing on is the same. I could not join it again though. I got to some other server, but then I spawned on the coast with all my gear, which I'm grateful for atleast, but now I have to make my way up there again. I had to mancry abit. :'(
