I'm sitting in a small house next to a water source. I am already Energized, but I can't get Hydrated. I seem to be losing water extremely fast. There is no "Sick" status, but I keep getting a pop-up saying "I feel a rumble in my bowels" in red. Even when I did manage to get myself both Energized and Hydrated I didn't seem to be gaining blood at all. EDIT: I just passed out. I have no idea what happened or why I was losing water so fast. If I was sick I have no idea what might have caused it. EDIT 2: I just died, but please tell me what happened to me D:

I tried to cook some deer meat with a portable gas stove but apparently you can't put at cooking pot on it. The frying pan worked, and I successfully fried the meat. The only problem is that I had to leave the frying pan behind because it was too hot to handle, even after I left it on the ground for 5 minutes.

I'd gladly farm. I've been trying to get a farm going for ages. Problem is that I spend so much time trying to stay alive, I have no time to find all the stuff required.

There is no food. Me and my friend ran through the forest and found random places we never knew existed. Sure, we found loot, but we still ended up dying within an hour. One time, by some freak luck, we managed to find two cans of food and a cereal box. We shared it evenly among us, but since we were already on the brink of starving to death, all it did was add another 15 - 20 minutes, we found no food and ended up starving to death.

Just some advice: Next time try using a better title, instead of just "I NEED HELP".

He shot me with what seemed like an endless mag. I tried to hide behind a fence, but somehow he tracked me through the fence and shot me through it.

I didn't even know DayZ had bullet penetration, even through fences.

I don't know. The fence was completely solid.

It was, but from my angle it didn't seem possible. It was a very tall fence and I was crouching.

I enjoy it. Obviously it will have bugs, the game even mentions it upon launch. So far I have not experienced any gamebreaking issues and it is playable, despite being in Alpha. I trust the dev team to work on the game, as they should, and so should you. The mod seems better because it has been out for about a year and a half now. That's a year and a half longer than DayZ SA.

My encounter includes a question. I was in NWAF in the building with the prison door directly right of the entrance. I was looting stuff in that room when I heard a player reloading on the second floor. I proceeded to ask over voice if he was friendly, and decided that if he does not answer, I will murder him. He did not answer, and I heard footsteps. He was getting closer. He eventually peeked and I killed him with my M4. I went to loot him, he had some sick gear. Then I heard footsteps behind me, but I was too late, and he shot me. I got the "You are unconscious". Which leads me to my question: What does it mean? Am I dead? Because I waited for a while, but I never regained consciousness. I then tried to quit, and my character on the main screen still had all the gear I had when I got shot.

So I finally got to play for a while, and so far there is only one issue that I think is really bad. No zombies. I ran from the coast to Vybor and I ran into ONE single zombie... Is that intended or was i just lucky?

I'll report back when I can actually join a server without getting the "Bad version, server rejected connection" message.

After having issues yesterday with Requesting Authentication, I finally managed to get past that, but when I thought I got into the game I got kicked for "Script Restriction #44". I tried again and now I am stuck on this screen. Screenshot attached.

OK after I read this I tried to reinstall Beta patch then DayZ patch, in that order. Then it worked. Thanks!

Yes, I've checked. Everything is up to date. Even all my other maps are up to date.

What are the restart times in GMT +1? And what time are the vehicle resets?

Thing is, loot only spawns if you approach the platform from 120 meters away. So techincally you would need to get dropped 120 meters away from the drilling platform, then swim to it.

I mean, everytime I find one, I use my time to fix it, and just when I can fly, a guy just randomly pops up and kills me, every fucking time. Are there really just hackers waiting for people, or am I just extremely fucking unlucky? Getting so goddamn tired of dying everytime something good happens. It's not possible to fix one and fly away. The only way to do this is either hack or have like 10 friends with you. Also, I managed to fix one and fly away, I flew out of map(appparently it was not even outside the map), landed, and logged out, next morning it's gone. How do I keep it overnight?

How do you show you are friendly from a distance where voice chat wont reach? I've always encountered this problem, and have never been able to explain to him I am friendly. So I thought, why not make the salute action an international sign of friendliness? So many pointless deaths might be avoided. Not to mention less PvP, since this is still a zombie game. EDIT: Oh wow, somehow my Battlelog avatar shows up here too... Cool.

I managed to find another one while server hopping. (To Dallas: Me too, but I have nothing else to do than find choppers. I never log out in combat though.) This one I fixed, I took some parts from a nearby tent, but I had to server hop to find the rest. When I once got it, I just flew around the map for a while, looking for stuff and just generally sightseeing. It was almost morning, I had stayed up all night fixing the damn thing. So I decided to land on the hotel on Chernarus, save it, then log out. Next morning it is GONE... I mean, there is no way to get up there while on foot, I checked, it is only possible with chopper. Still it's gone. I checked around the hotel, around Chernarus and could not see a crashed chopper. So my advice is; If you want a chopper, you better have the most exciting time of your life while you have it, because the next morning it's gone. TL;DR Found chopper, fixed it, flew around the map, landed on hotel on Cherno, log out, next morning is GONE...fucking GONE. Also, I only seem to find choppers at the worst times. When I'm not at home because of school, my internet shuts down at midnight. Guess when we find choppers? Anywhere from 10pm to 11:30pm.

I can't join. I really want to play on a Private Hive server but everytime I try to connect to this server I get "Reconnect Penalty" Timer. This would be totally fine except for the fact that it goes past the 0 mark, when I am supposed to be able to join. It just keeps going down, into negative numbers. I had about -200 when I gave up. It was my first time joining that server too...

My friend once found a chopper, while we were fixing it a guy showed up on the island with a L85 and started firing at my friend, he tried lifting off but the guy ran straight at him, he then bailed out and killed him with a... M9SD! The chopper was fully repaired but with very low fuel, so we decided to just fly away, land at a tank and refuel, but as I was joining the same guy, with the same weapon came back within minutes and killed my friend and GTFO'd with the chopper. Later when he spawned the guy came flying with the chopper and just crashed next to him. The fucking douchebag took it just to crash it, according to him. People suck. I cried.

I always save it. But my main point is I die every time I'm close to fixing it. It's like someone knows I'm about to succeed at something and then kills me. I just go on Skalisty Island and server hop until I find one. I've experienced so much in this game a chopper is the only thing that interests me. Tbh I would use it to pick up freshspawns and transport them to whereever.
